Metro accidents are extremely dangerous and may not only cause casualties and property damage,but may also trigger public fear and have a negative social impact,endangering social security and social stability.At present,there is a lack of research on the design of the passenger interface layout for the evacuation of passengers in China’s metro trains,and there is a lack of evaluation and analysis for different metro models,and a systematic evaluation method has not yet been formed.From the perspective of industrial design,this thesis intends to study the layout of the passenger interface of domestic metro trains.Firstly,a review of domestic and international research on the evacuation of people and metro fires is conducted,summarising the research directions,academic results and shortcomings of existing research,addressing the shortcomings of the research on the basis of the existing results,and then proposing innovative points.Based on the literature analysis,field survey,behavioural observation and simulation analysis,the actual dimensions of the train,the existing design of the passenger interface layout,the high-frequency placement points for passengers,the composition and materials of the train components,the characteristics of the passenger attributes in the metro train and the proportion of people with different human attributes are extracted from the three metro trains with passenger interface layout solutions.Based on the results of the simulations,the specific features of the three different passenger interfaces and the design points that can be optimised are summarised.Finally,the internal layout of metro carriages with different passenger interface layouts is improved to propose an aesthetically pleasing and clear layout of each functional module,which is most conducive to the rapid evacuation of passengers,and a comprehensive evaluation system for fire evacuation of urban rail trains is constructed based on the architectural method of the thesis research to provide theoretical support for scientific assessment of the fire evacuation capability of urban rail trains.
