The "Outline for Building a Strong Transportation Country" clearly pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen the research and development of novel vehicles.The structure of permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation is simple and controllable.With the rapid development of rare earth magnets,it has gradually attracted people’s attention.However,due to its own inherent magnetic resistance,its development is limited.Based on the principle of permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation,this thesis designs an annular Halbach magnetic wheel for permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation vehicles.This magnetic wheel can realize the levitation ability of the vehicle,and convert the inherent magnetic resistance into the driving force,so as to achieving the integration of the levitation and driving for the vehicle.On this basis,this thesis conducts a simulation optimization study on the levitation performance of the vehicle magnetic wheel at a practical size and the conductor plate model of the permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation vehicle,and implements a deep analysis of the electromagnetic force characteristics of the magnetic wheel.The main work of this thesis can be summarized as:Initially,based on the principle of permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation,an annular Halbach permanent magnet wheel model suitable for the practical size of the maglev vehicle wheel is built.The principle of magnetic wheel levitation is analyzed and calculated by Maxwell equation and Lorentz’s force,and the electromagnetic force of magnetic wheel is obtained.Both the magnetic field distribution of the magnetic wheel and the eddy current distribution in the conductor plate are acquired by electromagnetic simulation software.Then,the simulation optimization analysis is carried out on this practical magnetic wheel size and the material parameters of the conductor plate.To producing the maximum levitation and levitation to weight ratio,the magnetic wheel parameters are set at 6 pole pairs,30 degrees for the magnetization angle,0.75 for the radius ratio,200 mm for the magnetic wheel width,10 mm for the levitation gap,and the aluminum plate width and thickness are400 mm and 20 mm.The quasi-static and dynamic operation modes of the magnetic wheel with optimized parameters are simulated,and the appropriate working speed of the magnetic wheel is obtained.After that the working mode of the permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation vehicle is described in detail.Later,the structure of the conductor plate is changed,and the influence of different structures on the magnetic wheel’s guiding force is analyzed.A new structure of conductor plate that can provide enough guiding force and levitation force at the same time is proposed.Finally,the scheme of the magnetic wheel test apparatus of the permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation vehicle is carried out.The scheme of the magnetic wheel and the conductor plate in this test device are affected by the processing,assembly and space area,correspondingly the structure should be also changed.The simulation analysis of this new structure of the magnetic wheel and the conductor plate are carried out.Compared with the simulation results of this new structure and the original structure,the feasibility of the new structure is verified.The magnetic wheel is used as the carrying and driving part of the whole vehicle,so its performance parameters determine the levitation performance of the vehicle.The permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation vehicle magnetic wheel test apparatus can test the levitation force,driving force and guiding force of the magnetic wheel of different structures under different working conditions,and simulate the force of the magnetic wheel in different motion states.As a carrier for checking the magnitude of the electromagnetic force generated by the magnetic wheel,the test apparatus can provide the support of experimental data for ensuring the levitation operation of the vehicle.The development of the magnetic wheel test apparatus for permanent magnet electrodynamic levitation vehicles has a great significance for its research and development.
