Design Of Chinese Wedding Articles In The Style Of Tantou New Year Painting

As a national intangible cultural heritage,the Tantou New Year paintings in Shaoyang,Hunan,contain a deep folklore and cultural connotation.However,with the rapid development of society,Tantou New Year paintings are gradually disappearing from people’s view.The thesis aims to open up new ways of preserving and innovating the heritage of Tantou New Year paintings.Chinese wedding culture is an important representative of traditional Chinese culture and needs to manifest the connotation of the splendid Chinese culture.At present,there is a wide variety of wedding supplies,but homogenisation and modelling are serious,lacking cultural connotations.The designs of wedding supplies almost exist independently of each other,and there are few systematic designs.The Tantou New Year paintings are full of cultural connotations,and their innovative use in the design of Chinese wedding items can improve the current situation of lack of innovation in the design of wedding items,thus promoting the living heritage of the Tantou New Year paintings and giving them a strong artistic vitality and commercial vitality.The thesis focuses on the origin,artistic characteristics and artistic value of Tantu New Year paintings,and analyses the feasibility and necessity of using Tantu New Year painting style in the design of Chinese wedding items.The overall design uses the composition methods of distillation and generalisation,fragmentation and reconstruction,and isomorphism to extract the elements that have a good meaning for wedding celebrations,and on the basis of this,the creative design of the graphics is carried out,so that the work presents an abstract visual effect,which is conducive to the public’s recognition and memory of the graphics,and makes the picture conform to modern aesthetics.Finally,the innovative graphics are appropriately applied to Chinese wedding items,with the design targeting three main categories: wedding items,wedding gifts and wedding household items.It is hoped that through this design,Tantou New Year paintings can be better disseminated and truly integrated into modern society,providing new ideas for the inheritance and innovative dissemination of intangible cultural heritage Tantou New Year paintings,as well as new directions for pattern innovation in wedding items.
