Under the background of achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals,China has continued to promote a green-oriented transition of energy and actively build a new type of power system based on new energy in recent years.Energy storage,as an important part of the new power system,has been widely concerned by the economy and society.Driven by domestic industrial policies,the energy storage industry has ushered in a period of rapid development.As a start-up company in the field of electrochemical energy storage,YWH Co.,Ltd.has owned the independent intellectual property rights of sodium-based energy storage battery technology,which is in the leading position in China.However,it has not yet formed industrial transformation and produced economic benefits.Facing the development opportunities of the industry,it is urgent for the small company to realize its own survival and development in the highly competitive environment.This paper uses PEST model and Porter’s Five Forces model to analyze the external macro environment,electrochemical energy storage industry and market environment that the company faces and identifies its external opportunities and threats.It identifies the company’s own strengths and weaknesses through in-depth analysis of the company’s internal environment in terms of resources,capabilities and culture.It comprehensively uses EFE matrix,IFE matrix,SWOT matrix and QSPM matrix to analyze and formulate an intensive growth strategy as the development strategy of the company at the start-up stage.Then it makes the implementation measures of product development and market development as well as the corresponding security and control measures to ensure the implementation of the development strategy.
