Since 2000,the number of college entrance examinations in China has increased year by year, the number of college enrollments, the number of colleges and universities has increased, and water consumption has increased, which is an important part of urban water use, especially in North China as the region with the lowest per capita water resources in China, its urban water security is affected by climate change and human activities. Therefore, clarifying the water use structure,intra-year change characteristics and water-saving potential of universities in the region is of great practical significance in the current process of building a water-saving society. This thesis analyzes the characteristics of water use in a university in North China, evaluates and analyzes its existing data and management situation, and proposes water-saving strategies. The main findings are as follows:1.Taking the water use of a university in Z City as a sample, analyzing its water use law characteristics, distinguishing reclaimed water and tap water, analyzing canteen water, dormitory building water, office building water and greening water, studying the annual daily water use and the whole day hourly water use,and found that the canteen water was distributed in 70~100m~3/d during non-holidays,20~30m~3/d during holidays, and 3~8m~3/h daily hourly water use.The daily water consumption of the dormitory building is distributed at 450~500m~3/d during the non-holiday period,200m~3/d during the holiday, and the daily hourly water consumption is distributed in4~8m~3/h.The office buildings are distributed at 120~150m~3/d throughout the year, and the daily hourly water consumption of the civil engineering buildings is distributed at3~4m~3/h.Green water use has a large gap in the first half of the year, before May at1500-2000m3/d,from May began to decline water consumption, after the decline of water consumption within 500m~3/d.The water in the dormitory is distributed400~1000m~3/d during the non-holiday period, about 200m~3/d during the holiday, and the green reclaimed water reaches 200~600m~3/d in the first half of the year, and basically does not use reclaimed water after July.Comparing the water use situation of colleges and universities with the relevant quotas in China,it is found that the water saving effect of canteens and dormitories is good, and the effect of greening and water saving is poor.2.Through data reading,it was found that the water consumption of greening was high, and 3 standard layers and 12 index layers were selected for evaluation of green water use,and the index weights affecting green water use were obtained, and the analytic hierarchy method, entropy weight method and the combination of the two combined to calculate the weight results showed that the water recharge part and investment had the greatest impact on green water use, followed by equipment3.opening time and facility coverage.4.The evaluation results show that the water-saving construction of the campus belongs to the four-level standard,of which the three indicators of the criterion layer:water saving, equipment water saving, and management water saving The evaluation results are:four-level standard,five-level standard,third-level standard, and certain water-saving potential.Put forward relevant suggestions on the follow-up work of campus water conservation, management and facility investment and maintenance, and strengthen the improvement of water conservation awareness to achieve multi-directional water saving goals.
