High voltage transmission towers often need to pass through plateaus,mountains,hills,basins and other regions,and are vulnerable to rainstorm,frost,monsoon and other disasters.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct health monitoring on transmission towers to ensure safe line operation.The existing monitoring methods for transmission towers still rely on traditional methods such as manual inspections,which have low inspection efficiency and high leakage rates.In order to reduce the impact of natural disasters on the status of transmission towers and improve the reliability of power equipment operation,the purpose of this paper here was a transmission tower health monitoring and maintenance scheme based on optimized support vector machine intelligent classification.The specific research content includes the following aspects:Build a mechanical structure model of the iron tower using ANSYS Workbench software,complete equivalent stress analysis and wind load calculation of the iron tower structure,and obtain the optimal position for sensor placement;The synthetic minority oversampling technology(SMOTE)is used to optimize the unbalanced tower operating state data set and build a balanced data set suitable for machine learning,so as to improve the accuracy of tower operating state prediction;Aiming at the shortcomings of existing multi class support vector machine algorithms,an improved multi class central segmentation hyperplane support vector machine(CSH-SVM)algorithm is proposed to improve the prediction accuracy of support vector machines;Based on the concept of micro power consumption design,the hardware system for tower health monitoring has been designed,and real-time data information collection has been achieved;With the help of Alibaba Cloud platform,cloud storage of tower status information is realized,and Vue framework and Echarts data technology are used to realize the visualization of tower status data,and finally real-time monitoring of the health status of transmission towers is completed,improving the intelligent level of transmission tower operation and maintenance.The health monitoring system for the iron tower developed in this project was put into operation in September 2022 at the MZ-2 cat head type II linear tower in the suburbs of Changchun.It monitored 64 mild warnings for strong wind weather,24 moderate warnings for strong wind weather,and 42 mild warnings for rain and snow weather.This system provides a low-cost and highly reliable transmission tower health monitoring and operation and maintenance solution,and the relevant research results have certain reference significance for improving the intelligent level of power system equipment operation and maintenance.
