At present,China’s civil aviation industry is about to enter a period of high-quality development,and the further growth of air transport demand will make air traffic management activities more and more inclined to use real-time traffic management to meet flight demand,for which reasonable and accurate sector capacity assessment is required.In this thesis,we combine complex network theory to study the dynamic capacity of sectors to improve the accuracy of capacity assessment.The details of the study are as follows:(1)Since the sector capacity is affected by the traffic configuration in the sector,the sector route network structure is studied.The sector route network is constructed by taking the sector entry and exit points as well as the route points and intersections in the sector as nodes,the route as edges,and the onehour traffic on the route as the edge weights,and the network characteristics index of each node in the network is calculated by combining the complex network theory to construct the sector complexity model.(2)The relationship between sector complexity and sector capacity is investigated by combining the calculation example,and the sector capacity is approximated by selecting the sector traffic during the saturation time of the day in fine weather as the sector capacity,and the corresponding value calculated by using the sector complexity model is regressed to analyze the two,and it is found that the sector complexity and the sector capacity are logarithmically related,thus the method of sector capacity evaluation is obtained,and the sector capacity under different traffic configurations is investigated.The data show that different traffic configurations have an impact on the sector capacity.(3)The proposed capacity assessment method is validated by selecting the Chengdu AR19 sector,and the results show that the method can predict the sector capacity better.In this thesis,we investigate the sector route network structure,propose a sector complexity model,and perform regression analysis on sector complexity and sector capacity to obtain the sector capacity prediction equation,and verify the reasonableness and usability of the method in this thesis.
