Kinematics analysis,MATLAB simulation analysis and ANSYS simulation analysis are all components of the design process for a linear induction motor to eject electromagnetic waves from a fixed-wing UAV.A linear motor is employed to generate thrust and propel the electromagnetic ejection of UAV in a direct direction in the design.For UAV ejection,linear induction motors,permanent magnet linear synchronous motors,and superconducting excitation linear synchronous motors are all suitable linear drive motors.Because of its simple structure,low cost,small quality and high reliability,the linear induction motor is chosen as the driving motor for the electromagnetic ejection of the fixed-wing UAV.Kinematics analysis is employed to evaluate the UAV’s accelerating motion,and the average thrust of the UAV is then ascertained.The equivalent circuit of the linear induction motor is then deduced,and the effect of the pole distance parameters on its corresponding circuit parameters is examined.Then,considering the influence of electromagnetic load,primary and secondary winding materials,air gap and pole distance,the design parameters of linear induction motor are presented.Thirdly,MATLAB is used to analyze the influence of electromagnetic torque,current and secondary load on the thrust of linear induction motor.Finally,ANSYS APDL and ANSYS Maxwell finite element are used to simulate and analyze the magnetic flux density and thrust of the designed motor,and verify whether the electromagnetic thrust of the designed motor can meet the thrust of the ejecting fixed-wing UAV,verify the rationality of the design.
