Research On The Influence Of Government Subsidies On Enterprise Performance From The Perspective Of Dual Innovation

With the proposal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals" in China,the new energy power industry needs to accelerate the adjustment,optimization and upgrading of industrial structure to meet the needs of social development.Report to the 20 th CPC National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward that "innovation should be the core position in the overall situation of China’s modernization",and new energy power enterprises need not only to explore new knowledge and technology,but also to enhance their technological innovation ability on the existing basis in order to realize dual innovation of enterprises.As an important way of resource allocation,government subsidies play an important role in the dual innovation activities of enterprises,providing resource support for enterprise innovation.However,the utilization efficiency of government subsidies of new energy power enterprises in different property rights and regions is different.Therefore,how government subsidies promote dual innovation R&D investment,enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises,and further enhance enterprise performance has become the research focus of realizing industrial transformation and upgrading of new energy power industry and promoting sustainable economic development.Based on this,this paper selects listed companies in China’s new energy power industry from 2016 to 2021 as research samples,classifies enterprises in a heterogeneous way,starts with the correlation between government subsidies and enterprise performance,and introduces dual innovation to explore its intermediary role in the relationship between government subsidies and enterprise performance.At the same time,taking LONGi Green Energy Technology Co.,Ltd.(LONGi)as the research object,the empirical part is supplemented and verified.The results show that:(1)According to the nature of property rights and regions,the new energy power enterprises are classified,and the government subsidies have a greater role in promoting the performance of non-state-owned enterprises than state-owned enterprises,and in promoting the performance of enterprises in the southeast region than those in the northwest region;(2)There is a significant positive correlation among government subsidies,dual innovation and enterprise performance,and dual innovation has a significant mediating effect in the influence of government subsidies on enterprise performance;(3)This paper selects LONGi,a non-state-owned enterprise in southeast China,as a case enterprise,analyzes the government subsidies,dual innovation and enterprise performance of LONGi,discusses the mechanism of government subsidies on dual innovation and enterprise performance,and tests its application in enterprises based on empirical results.Based on the empirical and case analysis results,combined with the actual situation of China’s new energy power industry,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions,such as improving the utilization efficiency of government subsidies,clarifying the dominant position of dual innovation and perfecting the supervision system of subsidy funds,in order to enhance the enthusiasm of innovative research and development of new energy power enterprises,and then promote the high-quality development of new energy power enterprises.
