As the core power element of hydraulic system,gear pump has the advantages of simple structure,low pressure fluctuation,low noise and high efficiency,so it is widely used in traditional machinery industry.However,with the rapid development of global digitalization,the traditional machinery industry began to transform to the field of intelligence and digitalization.T he traditional gear pump for design,optimization,experimental simulation,operation control method has not been able to meet the urgent needs of the market for hydraulic equipment safety,operational status data visualization and intelligent control.By carrying out research related to gear pump digital twin technology is particularly important for gear pump digitalization and intelligence.Based on this,this paper takes the external gear pump as the research object,and mainly researches in the following directions:(1)By proposing a five-dimensional model for gear pump digitization,we analyzed the requirements of the gear pump digital twin system and determined five layers: physical layer,virtual layer,data layer,service layer,and application layer as the gear pump digital twin system architecture,and constructed the gear pump digital twin system through the gear pump digital twin system architecture.(2)Using 3D static modeling software SOLIDWORKS and 3DMAX to establish the geometric and structural models of the gear pump digital twin,and using Unity3 D virtual development engine to establish the gear pump digital twin behavior model and rule model to complete the modeling of the gear pump digital twin virtual model.The virtual layer of the gear pump digital twin system is realized by completing the motion simulation of the virtual model through virtual model virtual-real mapping,spatial positional transformation,and collision detection.(3)Gear pump test bench motion control and sensor signal acquisition using PLC based on the gear pump physical platform.Lab VIEW is used to design the gear pump performance degradation data acquisition system and establish communication connection with PLC to realize the data acquisition at the physical layer.The collected data are stored to My SQL database,and the database E-R model and data table structure are designed using My SQL Workbench.Finally,C# scripts are written to integrate the data virtual and real to realize the data layer of the gear pump digital twin system.(4)Combining the gear pump performance degradation data,the gear pump leakage is predicted by LSTM,GRU and Transformer neural networks using Python programming language and Py Charm compilation environment.By comparing the prediction result RMSE and the prediction time of the test set,the Transformer neural network with more accurate prediction effect is fused to the virtual space for intelligent prediction of the gear pump performance degradation process,and the construction of the gear pump digital twin system service layer is realized.(5)The system application layer and functional modules are designed according to the physical layer,virtual layer,data layer and service layer of the gear pump digital twin system.It mainly includes system management module,gear pump digital twin system knowledge model module,gear pump free disassembly module,motion simulation intelligent monitoring module and data management module,and develops and tests each functional model,and finally completes the design and implementation of the gear pump digital twin system.
