| The rotary actuator based on magnetorheological intelligent material has the advantages of small size,simple structure and stepless speed regulation.It has a broad application prospect in the frontier fields such as MEMS and aerospace.In the longterm storage process,due to the different density of magnetic particles and carrier fluid,the magnetorheological fluid will inevitably produce settlement phenomenon,which seriously affects its rheological properties and thus reduces the speed control performance of magnetorheological brake.In this paper,a magnetorheological reducer based on integrated self-uniform functional rotating shaft is proposed.Without adding additional systems,the process of self-homogenization is only completed in the relative operation process to realize the reactivation of sedimentation magnetorheological fluid and improve the sedimentation robustness of magnetorheological reducer.Specific research contents are as follows:1.Carried out the design of a magnetorheological reducer with integrated selfuniform functional rotating shaft,and analyzed the magnetic field distribution of the reducer based on COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software.The results show that when the current of 0.6A is applied to the coil,the average magnetic induction intensity in the storage space of MR Fluid is greater than 0.5T,which can meet the requirements of deceleration.2.The fluid-solid coupling model of multiphase fluid-rotating machinery is established to illustrate the self-homogenization process of MR Reducer.Based on Ansys Fluent software,the variation rule of magnetic particle concentration distribution in the working process of MR Reducer was carried out.The simulation results show that the magnetorheological fluid can be self-homogenized by the reducer with integrated function rotating shaft,and the extreme settlement state of 90% at the bottom can be homogenized to the overall average concentration of 27%.3.An in-situ monitoring system for concentration changes of MR Reducer based on inductance sensor was constructed,and the deceleration performance of MR Reducer was tested.The deceleration performance test results show that the deceleration performance of the settling magnetorheological liquid can reach the level of the normal magnetorheological liquid phase after self-homogenization.The monitoring results show that the final average concentration of the sedimentation magnetorheological fluid can reach 25% after self-homogenization,and the magnetorheological reducer with integrated functional rotating shaft can realize selfhomogenization and has good deceleration performance.In this paper,a magnetorheological reducer with integrated self-uniform function rotating shaft can realize self-healing of settling magnetorheological fluid and precise speed control.The fluid-solid coupling model of integrated self-uniform functional rotating shaft,magnetic particles and loaded liquid was established,which effectively clarified the sedimentation self-repair mechanism of MR Brake.The results of this paper have important theoretical significance and practical application value for expanding the application of MR Actuator in long-term storage. |
