Water ecological civilization is a fundamental component and basic guarantee of ecological civilization,and it serves as an essential support for constructing a beautiful China.The ecological canal project is the main content of building a water-saving ecological irrigation area and a critical part of promoting the construction of water ecological civilization.Bank protection is a vital requirement for the construction of environmental canals,which is often considered only for meeting the water transmission and distribution capacity or safety of the canal but ignores the ecological role of the canal itself.As a result,more and more environmental bank protection structure forms are widely used in the construction of environmental canal engineering,but the problems encountered are increasingly complex and varied,leading to a serious imbalance phenomenon that restricts the development of environmental canal construction.Therefore,it is crucial to study and evaluate the environmental shore protection structure of canals to restore and improve the environmental function of canals,build water-saving ecological irrigation areas,and promote the construction of water ecological civilization.This paper comprehensively evaluates various existing ecological revetment structural forms based on a comprehensive evaluation system of canal ecological revetment using the AHP-FCE method.The work is as follows:(1)Research on ecological revetment structure forms: The theoretical basis of domestic and foreign scholars’ research on ecological revetment structural forms,the concept,connotation,design principles,and mechanism of ecological revetment are summarized.The existing ecological revetment structural forms are divided into two categories: vegetation revetment and plant engineering composite revetment,and four types of plant engineering composite revetment,namely Reno Mattress,ecological bag,hollow hexagonal block,and articulated block,are selected and analyzed.(2)Construction of a comprehensive evaluation system for canal ecological revetment: A canal ecological shore protection evaluation index system is constructed,with function,safety,ecological landscape benefit,and socio-economic benefit as the criteria and canal leakage loss rate,actual canal flow capacity,bank stability,biodiversity,water quality,soil fertility,economic cost,and sustainability as the evaluation indexes.AHP-FCE is selected as the comprehensive evaluation method of canal ecological shore protection.(3)Evaluation and analysis of canal ecological shore protection examples: The evaluation index values are measured by field monitoring,theoretical analysis,and numerical simulation based on the example of the canal ecological shore protection project.The weights of the four criteria of safety,functionality,ecological landscape benefit,socio-economic benefit,and each index of the corresponding target layer are calculated by the hierarchical analysis method,and the evaluation index affiliation matrix is constructed based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method(FCE)to determine the comprehensive score of different ecological shore protection solutions.Finally,the most suitable ecological shore protection scheme for the canal project is selected.Overall,this study is significant in restoring and improving the environmental function of canals,building water-saving ecological irrigation areas,and promoting the construction of water ecological civilization.
