Kindergarten Space Design Based On Ecological Concept

Early childhood is a critical period for human growth and development.At this stage,children first come into contact with the campus environment and integrate into collective life and education.A good campus environment can promote the healthy development of children’s body and mind..Brown Fenrenner,a preschool educator,emphasized that children’s educational space should pay attention to the influence of ecological environment on individual behavior.He believed that everyone lives and develops in the ecological environment,and human development is the process in which his body gradually adapts to the changing environment.However,from the current situation of domestic urban kindergartens,most urban kindergartens can only meet the daily teaching function in design,ignoring the role of natural ecological environment in children’s growth process.Therefore,the ecological concept is incorporated into the environmental design of kindergarten,and the construction of ecological kindergarten is also one of the important factors to be considered in the construction of urban kindergarten.The ecological concept is devoted to establishing a harmonious relationship between man and nature,society and environment.Integrating the concept of ecological design into kindergarten environmental design can not only beautify the kindergarten space environment,but also achieve the purpose of ecological education.Therefore,under the premise of respecting the law of children’s development,this paper takes the ecological design concept as the guiding ideology to design the second kindergarten in Yuhua District of Shijiazhuang City.Firstly,this paper puts forward the research background,significance and content of the selected topic,analyzes the present situation of kindergarten design at home and abroad,and summarizes excellent cases to provide reference for subsequent design.Secondly,the ecological concept and the concepts related to children are explored and analyzed.Thirdly,the principles and strategies of kindergarten environmental design under the concept of ecological design are sorted out.Finally,through the understanding and research of related concepts,the practical significance of kindergarten environment under the ecological concept in the process of children’s growth is obtained In order to provide a healthy and comfortable kindergarten environment for children,the second kindergarten in Yuhua District of Shijiazhuang City was reformed.
