The rapid development of cities brings many environmental problems to new urban areas. The spatial pattern of wide roads and sparse road networks leads to larger spatial scales, imbalanced road scales, and reduced sense of security in new urban areas.Fear of victimization is a subjective feeling that environmental participants are in a bad environment and generate fear of being a target of aggression.A safe public parking space are closely related to the urban environment and people’s daily life, and a reasonable design and improvement of the environment is needed to reduce the fear of victimization of environmental participants. With the support of CPTED theory and urban "crime prone" space theory,we combine urban public parking space with defense security, focus on the "problematic points" of defense security, find the intersection point between public parking space and defense security, and divide public parking space into "access type" and "access type".We divide public parking spaces into "access" parking spaces,"transition" parking spaces and "island" parking spaces. The environmental factors affecting the fear of environmental victimization were divided into subjective and objective factors, and spatial sentence method was used to analyze the three different types of public parking spaces with the help of Depth Map to analyze the objective factors such as accessibility, visibility and recognition, etc.;the questionnaires were distributed, mathematical and statistical models were constructed, and SPSS was used to analyze the factors affecting the fear of spatial victimization.SPSS analyzes the subjective factors such as domain, positivity and intentionality that affects the fear of spatial victimization, and proposes "access type","transition type" and "island type" in combination with CPTED theory. The design strategies of "access type","transition type" and "island type" parking spaces to weaken the fear of victimization are proposed. The research hopes to provide technical strategies to support the urban public parking space environment through rational design and improvement of the environment to reduce the fear of victimization of environmental participants.
