As China’s urban construction enters a new stage of high-quality development,urban residents have put forward higher requirements for the travel environment.As an important part of the street space,the design of barrier-free facilities is not only related to the efficiency of pedestrian traffic,but also affects the creation of high-quality urban public space.Therefore,this paper will focus on the construction of barrier-free environment in urban street space,and conduct theoretical research and practical exploration on its optimization strategy,in order to meet the new requirements of urban residents for travel space.Firstly,by combing the relevant theoretical data and combining the research results at home and abroad,the system elements and optimization principles of the barrier-free environment in urban street space are summarized.Secondly,we conducted field research on the barrier-free environment of street space where 40 bus stops are located in the Apple Park area,and recorded the detailed construction information of barrier-free facilities at bus stops,subway stations and sidewalks.At the macro level,the data analysis provided a general overview of the construction of street space accessibility in the Apple Park area.At the micro level,the main problems of street space accessibility in Apple Park area are summarized and analyzed from four levels:access,service,perception and information.In view of the above problems,this paper proposes specific accessibility optimization strategies from the four levels of access,service,perception and information.The optimization strategies for accessibility include improving the public transportation system,the planning of the slow walking system and the design of the connection between stations and the slow walking system.The optimization strategy of service accessibility mainly includes improving the level of public transportation service,creating a barrier-free rest space and creating a barrier-free social atmosphere.The optimization strategy of perceptual accessibility mainly includes the optimization of barrier-free facilities based on human scale and sensory design.The optimization strategy of information accessibility mainly includes creating a barrier-free governance platform and promoting the application of barrier-free products.Finally,this paper selects South Apple Park Road as the actual optimization object,and applies the above optimization strategies to the design scheme of this road section.By verifying the operability and adaptability of the optimization design strategies,it aims to provide reference samples and guiding principles for the construction and optimization of the barrier-free environment in China’s street space.
