In recent years,China’s wind power,photovoltaic and other new energy industry has leapt to the world’s first,with the transformation of the energy structure,wind power this new energy into the power grid system in large quantities,on the one hand,will promote the power of the power grid system,resulting in the inertia effect and damping capacity of the system weakened.On the other hand,the wind power generation system will bring uncertainty to the power grid system,which not only increases the operating pressure and difficulty of the power grid dispatching level,but also affects the safe and stable operation of the power system.This is also an important factor restricting the rapid development of wind power,so it is necessary to enhance the frequency regulation capacity of the power system.Energy storage has fast response speed,flexible control,and can implement two-way regulation operation of charge and discharge,which is a safe,clean and efficient modern energy technology with very significant advantages.Energy storage has been emphasised in a number of policies,and can significantly improve the frequency stability of the power grid which containing large-scale wind power,so the study of joint frequency regulation with wind storage has important technical value.This paper focuses on power system frequency regulation services,and conducts research on energy storage and wind power frequency regulation operation.Firstly,this paper briefly summarizes the background and significance of wind storage joint frequency regulation,analyzes the current situation of domestic networks of wind power frequency regulation,energy storage frequency regulation and energy storage auxiliary wind power participating in frequency regulation,and then introduces the frequency characteristics and frequency regulation methods of the power system,establishes the frequency response model of the regional power grid,and further analyzes the influence of different wind power penetration rates on the frequency of the regional power grid on this basis,which leads to the following research on the participation of wind storage in frequency regulation of the power system.In the research of coordinated frequency regulation strategy of wind-storage joint system,the control system of energy storage virtual synchronous machine(VSG)is modeled,and the participation of energy storage in grid frequency regulation is simulated and analyzed,which verifies the feasibility of energy storage participation in frequency regulation of the system.Then,several control strategies of wind power participating in system frequency regulation are analyzed,and a strategy of energy storage coordinated wind farm participation in primary frequency regulation is summarized,and the effect of wind storage coordinated frequency regulation is verified by simulation comparison.Finally,in order to ensure the frequency security of the power grid,reduce the investment cost and operating cost of energy storage,and improve the economic benefits of the wind-storage joint system,the optimal configuration of the wind-storage joint system is studied.According to the Benders decomposition method,a hybrid energy storage planning model of double-layer power system with wind power connection is established,and the effectiveness of the proposed method and model is verified by comparing the planning scheme by establishing typical scenarios.
