Research On The Renovation Design Of Homestay Based On The Concept Of "Symbiosis Between Old And New"

As the new urbanization strategy is gradually implemented,the scale of urban renewal expands,and population and spatial structure are transformed one after the other in order to maintain the balance between urban and rural construction.The two main processes presented in the current policy promotion of new urbanization are the increase in the number of cities and towns and the continued increase in the scale of the urban population.This process supports industrial transformation and upgrading,but a nonequilibrium use of land resources has also emerged: on the one hand,the large influx of people has caused the problem of tight housing conditions;on the other hand,the old industrial heritage buildings have been abandoned and left unused for a long period of time,leading to a waste of land resources.The transformation of old industrial buildings into old-new-symbiosis B&B is especially appropriate in both of these contexts,in exploring a new model of renewal for sustainable societal development today.This paper is based on the concept of "Symbiosis between old and new" and investigates old-new-symbiosis B&B from the point of view of old industrial buildings through the collection of literature,actual research of the base cases,and summarizing the theoretical ideas,taking as an example the transformation of the area of the signal platform in Nanshan,Qinhuangdao.Systematic application of schema design.Following the logical sequence of this article,the article is divided into five parts: first,it presents the current urban development background,analyses the current state of B&B research and theories at home and abroad,and enumerates the target value,research importance,and innovation points for this paper;the second part is a theoretical development,mostly introducing the concept and classification of the B&B,and composes the ideological propositions of the ’old-new-symbiosis’ concept;the third part,combines the ’old building’In the fourth part,building on the theoretical foundation of the previous paper,B&B retrofit design in the context of old-new symbiosis is implemented,taking as its practical object the Nanshan Signal Platform and its storehouse on the northern side.Part five is the final chapter of this article,which provides systematic design strategies for the direction of transformation of the old and new coexistence B&B in China’s former industrial buildings as a result of the earlier research,and actively explores the new and old coexistence B&B under the epidemic situation by combining the current situation,and concludes with a summary of the research findings of the previous paper and suggestions and perspectives for the transformation of industrial B&B.
