| The survival and transmission space of intangible cultural heritage of folklore in traditional villages has long condensed the collective memory and folk beliefs of villagers, generated cultural exchanges and trade transactions, and folklore festivals have become an important link to maintain interpersonal relationships among villages. This paper focuses on the lack of inheritance of folk culture, the single expression of festival culture, and the lack of vitality and decay of the spatial carrier of folk festivals, and carries out the landscape design of traditional village public space based on folk festivals with the living conservation as the guide,Dazhang Village in Fuyang District as the spatial carrier, and the local characteristic lantern festival culture as the design element.By exploring the background of synergistic conservation of traditional village spatial environment and local folk culture,a review of relevant domestic and foreign literature is conducted to elaborate the intrinsic relationship between festivals and village public space.A conceptual analysis of the studies related to folk festivals and village public space landscape is conducted to clarify the dimensions of the festivals themselves and the principles of spatial landscape design when designing the spatial landscape based on festivals. Then, based on the research framework,we analyze the design of the festival behavior pattern, spatial form and symbolic meaning of Dazhang Village, summarize the characteristics and spatial presentation types of the festival in Dazhang Village, and propose a four-in-one design strategy of "people-event-spatial-emotion" under the orientation of the preservation of NRM.Finally, with the guidance of semiotics and experiential landscape, the expression method of "symbolic intervention, functional implantation and activity injection" is proposed from the surface to the inside to create a material life, festival parade and experiential consumption space suitable for the survival of festival culture, and to enrich the use function and cultural atmosphere of public space in both daily and festival scenes. As an expression of intangible culture, festivals are formed in people’s production practice and life. When conducting design research,we should not only pay attention to the elements of the spatial landscape itself, but also pay attention to the people and events related to festival culture,so as to promote the revitalization of the countryside by cultural revitalization through multi-level spatial landscape enhancement and cultural expression, and provide an innovative path for the living protection and inheritance of folk culture in Dazhang Village. |
