| With the continuous promotion of urbanization in China, smart communities are also flourishing.Smart communities play a huge role in improving community governance efficiency and enhancing community service quality, which is an important direction for urban development and grassroots governance. However, most of the research on the construction and development of smart communities in China focuses on the development of technology, and few scholars consider the service needs of smart communities from the perspective of residents.Sense of security is an important aspect of residents’ demand for smart community services.Based on smart communities, introducing diverse governance and service entities to build a safe and comfortable community life is an inevitable requirement for social development. Therefore,it becomes very important to use the construction and development of smart communities to improve residents’ sense of security. This study follows the approach of "building a quantifiable model of residents’ sense of security → analyzing the influencing factors of residents’ sense of security → simulation and effectiveness evaluation → improvement strategies".Drawing on theories and research methods from management, psychology, sociology, and other fields, this study studies the construction and development of smart communities from the perspective of residents’ sense of security, providing strategies for optimizing smart community service content and mechanisms. The main contents are as follows:(1)based on the results of literature research and expert affiliation method, the indicators for quantifying residents’ sense of security in smart communities were determined.then, using the critic method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,a quantitative model for residents’ sense of security in smart communities was constructed by combining the quantitative indicators.(2)based on the theories of risk perception and safety governance, the factors influencing residents’ sense of security in smart communities were analyzed.structural equation models were used to analyze the mechanism of influence.a questionnaire was designed to verify and correct the mechanism of influence and to explore the mediating effects among the factors influencing residents’ sense of security.(3)based on the mechanism of influence and the quantitative model,a simulation model for residents’ sense of security was constructed using matlab platform and bp neural network.the simulation model consists of an input layer, output layer, and hidden layer, with 20 variables in the input layer, one variable in the output layer, and 14 variables in the hidden layer.the simulation results were validated based on the questionnaire survey and showed good performance.(4)On the basis of the simulation model, according to the analysis of the influencing mechanism, scenario analysis and Monte Carlo simulation are used to simulate the effects of different subjects’ enhancement methods on residents’ sense of security in smart communities.Probability models for four different scenarios were designed based on different influencing factors,in order to explore their impact effectiveness.(5)Combining the simulation results of residents’ sense of security, and based on the theories of multi-center governance, technological embeddedness, and collaborative governance, the pathways for improving residents’ sense of security in smart communities were proposed for different governance subjects, such as government, community organizations, and enterprises.Meanwhile, based on the scenario analysis, the pathways for collaborative governance among different subjects in smart communities were also analyzed. This thesis includes 30 figures,42 tables, and references to 231 articles. |
