In recent years,with the development and popularization of 5G,artificial intelligence and intelligent terminals,various emerging technologies and teaching are constantly integrated with each other,and the hybrid teaching mode with online and offline integration has become the trend of education reform;course evaluation is an important part of teaching activities,especially in higher vocational colleges and universities,where the cultivation of engineering talents pays more attention to practical hands-on ability,the traditional course evaluation system is difficult to adapt to the humanistic cultivation of students,and in How to evaluate students’learning effect more objectively and multifaceted under the blended teaching mode is an important issue in the current teaching research of higher vocational colleges.This study was conducted to study the process evaluation of engineering courses in higher education institutions based on the blended teaching model.The research was conducted through questionnaires for 330 engineering students in three higher education institutions in C city of G province,and interviews were conducted with 20 engineering teachers in these three institutions.Through student research and teacher interviews,we understood the current application of blended teaching and course process evaluation of engineering courses in higher vocational colleges and universities.The following problems were sorted out through data analysis and interview feedback:(1)the online teaching platform is used more often and has not become an effective data recording carrier for course process evaluation;(2)the blended teaching mode is vaguely perceived and the online teaching link is integrated into course process evaluation;(3)teacher-student interaction is superficial and not deeply integrated with course process evaluation;(4)teachers’ weak teaching resource design ability affects students’online learning quality;(5)the difference in independent learning ability of students of different grades and genders is obvious;(6)the evaluation subject is single and students have few opportunities to participate in evaluation;(7)the feedback mode of evaluation results is single and there is "supply-demand gap";(8)too little attention to students’ non-intellectual factors in the evaluation content and insufficient personalization.In view of the above problems,the process evaluation system of engineering courses in higher vocational colleges under the blended teaching mode was constructed by combining the results of teacher-student surveys and interviews,expert consultation and hierarchical analysis.After the construction of the process evaluation system of engineering courses in higher vocational institutions under the blended teaching mode,it was practiced in the course "Use of Hydraulic and Pneumatic System" of mechatronics major in Q school.The two classes of the major were divided into experimental class and control class,and the experimental class was taught and evaluated according to the developed evaluation system,while the control class was taught and evaluated according to the previous teaching mode.After the course was finished,the course grades,practical competition awards and course attendance rates of the two classes were compared to analyze whether the course process evaluation under the hybrid teaching mode had a significant impact on students’learning effectiveness.And on the basis of practice,we find out the problems of the evaluation system for reasonable optimization and form the final evaluation system.At the end of the paper,the optimization of the process evaluation of engineering courses in higher education institutions under the blended teaching mode is proposed from two levels of teachers and students,and the evaluation indexes assist each other to provide reference for the process evaluation of engineering courses in higher education institutions under the blended teaching mode.
