Research On The Impact Of Industry Support P Olicies On The Performance Of NIO Automobile

In 2001,China began to promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry,aiming to gain a leading position.Therefore,the government has issued a series of special plans and support policies to promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry in terms of supply,environment,and demand.Thanks to policy support,China’s sales of new energy vehicles have ranked first in the world for five consecutive years,but problems such as fraud and car companies relying on subsidies for survival have also emerged.With the policy changes,since the establishment of the new energy vehicle subsidy reduction mechanism in 2015,we need to consider the future direction of industrial support policies and how domestic new energy vehicle companies can achieve sustainable development after the subsidy period ends.Based on external theory,public goods theory,and transfer payment theory,this article explores the relationship between new energy vehicle policy support and enterprise performance.Using the financial and non-financial data of NIO from 2018 to2022 as a case study,the impact of supply-side,environmental and demand-side support policies on NIO is analyzed.This article focuses on analyzing the impact pathways of different types of industrial support policies on new energy vehicle companies and the effect of different types of support policies on the financial and non-financial performance of NIO and other new energy vehicles.The research results show that supply-side support policies directly affect the financial performance of enterprises and have a significant impact on them.Environmental and demand-side support policies do not directly affect the financial performance of enterprises but indirectly affect their financial performance.Different types of support policies have a significant impact on the non-financial performance of new energy vehicles such as NIO,promoting the improvement of sales,technological innovation,and customer recognition.The research conclusions of this article have expanded the research on the specific enterprise performance impact of new energy vehicle industry support policies to a certain extent and enriched the theoretical discussion on the support policies of the new energy vehicle industry.This article also studied the impact of the new energy vehicle industry subsidy reduction on specific enterprises,proposed suggestions and enlightenment,and helped formulate and implement support policies for the new energy vehicle industry,providing guidance for the sustainable development of new energy vehicle enterprises in the post-subsidy era.
