| Under the background of urban stock renewal and refined design,historical commercial streets have become an important part of urban public space,and play an irreplaceable role in the vitality of the entire city.The vitality evaluation system of historical commercial streets is becoming increasingly complex,and the advent of the era of "big data" creates a new and quantifiable dimension for human life with its diversity,high speed,massiveness and low value density of data analysis and dissemination,and data analysis has become an important criterion for establishing a spatial vitality evaluation system of historical commercial streets,so as to help us analyze problems more accurately from the objective environment.Based on the research background described above,this paper attempts to intervene from the perspective of the external spatial vitality and crowd vitality characterization of historical commercial streets,relies on the research of relevant scholars on the spatial vitality of historical commercial streets,and uses multi-source geographic big data analysis such as mobile phone signaling and POI data to obtain the gathering density,functional mixture,spatial distribution of supporting facilities,etc.,taking the historical commercial street and surrounding spaces of Xizhong City,Gusu District,Suzhou as an example,and proposes to construct an "environment-crowd" vitality evaluation system for the subject and object that affect vitality.Through the questionnaire survey with the participation of experts and the public,using the analytic hierarchy theory,the use of historical commercial streets is explored from a micro perspective and its vitality is evaluated and studied,and the influence of historical commercial street space and crowds on the temporal and spatial differences of crowd vitality is discussed from the dual dimensions of crowd vitality characterization and spatial environment,and an optimization strategy is proposed to improve the vitality of historical commercial streets,the whole article is divided into four parts:Basic theoretical research.By sorting out the concepts of historical commercial streets and street spatial vitality by relevant scholars,the background and development status of historical commercial streets are summarized as a whole,and the problems existing in historical commercial streets in the new development stage of urban renewal are proposed.Through the definition of concept and the definition of the spatial scope of the research area,the research purpose of this paper is clarified by combining relevant theoretical research,and the advantages brought by multi-source geographic big data to the analysis and design of the spatial status of historical commercial streets the weight of the vitality evaluation of the historical commercial street,and obtain an expert attention rating.And a comprehensive overlay analysis was conducted on the expert attention obtained in the spatial vitality evaluation system of this article and the satisfaction level of respondents with the use of historical commercial streets in Xizhong City,pointing out the influencing factors of street space in Xizhong City,Suzhou and the obtained weights,this article reclassifies the evaluation index factors into four types,proposes a focus on the "high attention low satisfaction"
