With the tight constraints of resources and environment and the aging of population,the development of prefabricated construction industry has become an important point of green and sustainable development of the construction industry.How to understand and evaluate the prefabricated construction industry has become an urgent problem.Based on this,this paper studies the development level of the prefabricated building industry from the aspects of index construction,quantitative measurement and spatial feature analysis,and puts forward policy suggestions,in order to provide theoretical support and decision-making reference for the future development planning of the prefabricated building industry.The main research contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the characteristics of the prefabricated construction industry,the Porter Diamond model is modified,and the development level of the construction industry is divided into five subsystems: technical factors,resource factors,demand conditions,auxiliary industries,and government and enterprise strategies;Based on this,the evaluation index system of the development level of prefabricated building industry,which has 1 objective layer,5 criterion layer and 12 index layer is established.(2)Based on the improved entropy weight method,the development level of the prefabricated construction industry and its subsystems are measured.The analysis results show that,at the national level,the resource elements score the highest,followed by the government and enterprise strategy,and the demand conditions score the lowest;From the regional level,the development level of prefabricated construction industry generally presents a downward trend of "east-central-northeast-west";From the provincial level,provinces with higher development level of prefabricated construction industry include Jiangsu,Zhejiang,and Beijing,which are mainly concentrated in the eastern region,while provinces with lower development level include Qinghai,Xizang,and Ningxia,which are mainly concentrated in the western region.(3)Based on Theil index method,the paper analyzes the spatial differences of the development level of prefabricated construction industry and its subsystems.The results show that the overall spatial differences of technical elements are the largest,and the inter-regional differences are greater than the intra-regional differences.The internal differences of resource factors,demand conditions,auxiliary industries,government and enterprise strategies,and the development level of prefabricated construction industry are the main sources of the overall spatial differences.The western region has the largest internal differences,the eastern and northeastern regions have the largest internal differences in the level of government and enterprise strategy subsystems,and the central and western regions have the largest internal differences in resource factors.(4)Based on Moran index method,the spatial correlation analysis results of the development level of prefabricated construction industry and its subsystems show that,there is a significant positive spatial correlation between technical factors,demand conditions,government enterprise strategy and the total development level of prefabricated construction industry in the global space,while the negative spatial correlation between resource factors is not significant.Low-low agglomeration and high-low agglomeration are the main spatial local correlation modes of the development level of prefabricated construction industry.
