Intelligent transportation has become a crucial component of the future transportation system with the advent of artificial intelligence technology.As an important part of smart city,driverless bus is the inevitable trend of the future development of intelligent transportation system.It can effectively avoid various mistakes that may occur due to artificial bus driving,so as to improve the safety and efficiency of traffic operation.However,due to the existence of complex roads,how to ensure the safe and smooth operation of driverless public transport has become a problem worth studying,and it is necessary to establish a set of driverless public transport safety management system.In this paper,through the research and analysis of the vehicle engineering,road engineering,environmental impact,intelligent system engineering,laws and regulations and other factors affecting the driverless public transport in the Longhu driverless public transport project of Zhengdong New District,combined with consulting all aspects of technical reference materials and network data,the initial construction and summary of the driverless public transport intelligent safety management system on complex roads.And according to the safety management system of several important factors in the simulation experiment,further prove from the data that these factors can affect the safety of the driverless vehicle.Finally,it is concluded that:(1)Several important factors affecting the safe operation of driverless buses include intelligent vehicle system,intelligent system engineering,road network construction,human factors,laws and regulations,etc.(2)Following a road simulation experiment,it was determined that rear-end collisions are the primary conflict type when there is high traffic flow and collisions are the primary conflict type when there is low traffic flow when driverless vehicles with vehicle-road coordination function are at an intersection.(3)In the intersection environment,the traffic efficiency of traffic flow increases with the increase of market penetration of driverless vehicles.It is hoped that the research pair in this paper can better realize and promote self-driving bus technology,which is conducive to improving the safety of driverless buses and making certain contributions to urban smart bus services.
