Pile joist retaining wall as a new type of supporting structure is used in various engi neering construction activities,and with the continuous advancement of highway constr uction,there will be more and more occasions to use pile retaining wall.At present,ther e are relatively few studies on the damage mechanism of pile retaining wall structure,an d the study on the damage mechanism of pile joist retaining wall can not only improve t he research content of supporting retaining engineering and enrich the research data,but also provide reference basis for similar projects.In this thesis,based on a local tourist h ighway project,MIDAS GTS finite element software is used as a tool to study the force system factors of pile joist retaining wall by theoretical analysis and numerical simulatio n,and then the damage mechanism of pile joist retaining wall under the influence of vari ables is analyzed by numerical simulation,and finally four damage forms of pile joist ret aining wall are obtained.The main research contents and work conclusions of this thesis are as follows:(1)Analysis of factors affecting pile joist retaining walls and pile-soil-wall interacti ons.Based on the previous research,a three-dimensional finite element model is establis hed using finite element software to analyze the characteristics of the force and deformat ion relationship of the structure,the influence of different structural dimensions on the s oil-structure interaction mechanism,analyze the evolution process of several damage typ es of the structure,and discuss the force-deformation characteristics of the structure and the soil arch effect produced by the pile-soil interaction.(2)Study on the force and damage mode of pile buttress retaining wall.Based on th e results of the interaction study of pile joist retaining wall,the action of soil on the inter nal force of pile foundation of retaining wall and the damage form of pile retaining wall are analyzed,and the pile shear damage,pile top shear damage,retaining wall shear dam age and retaining wall overturning damage are simulated by finite element method.The external conditions such as roadbed width,sliding soil inclination angle,pile diameter,e tc.are obtained for the corresponding damage forms.(3)Engineering example analysis and treatment techniques.Combined with the pile joist retaining wall project example,the finite element model was established to analyze the stress level of the pile joist retaining wall and the stress level after anchor support,a nd to reason about the possible damage forms.The calculation results are compared and analyzed,and the results show that the stress after support is lower than that before supp ort,and a certain strength safety space is reserved,which verifies the reliability of the da mage mechanism study of pile joist retaining wall and the reasonableness of the support measures.
