Since the reform and development, the rapid economic development driven by urban expansion and new city construction, the supply relationship of urban housing and population distribution and redistribution in China have undergone tremendous changes, people’s material needs and living standards have been continuously improved, residents with different life cycles have become more and more diversified in their pursuit of living environment, spontaneous relocation behavior has intensified, and the urban migration population has become an important part of the urban population.Inner-city relocation not only provides impetus for the restructuring of urban populations, but also brings about problems such as uneven distribution of spatial resources. In this context, focusing on the migration of urban residents is of practical significance for understanding urban housing demand and rational planning and construction of urban living environment. At present, relocation is an important topic in urban planning, and a mature research framework has been formed. However, the research on urban big data on migration is still in the exploratory stage. At the same time, the relationship between urban built environment factors and the migration behavior of residents of different ages is not clear enough. To this end, this study takes the life cycle as the research perspective, the fourth ring road of Wuhan as the research area, and the traffic community as the basic spatial unit for research, using multi-source data such as mobile phone signaling, combined with big data research methods such as community discovery algorithm,to identify the migration characteristics of residents of various ages between spatial units and within spatial units, and use the spatial econometric model and the relationship model between factor characteristics and migration intensity to explore the influence of the built environment on the migration of residents of all ages, and carry out the analysis of factor characteristics difference. The main findings are as follows:(1)Characteristics of migration between spatial units. There are obvious differences in the relocation network and community structure of residents of different ages in Wuhan. The migration network of residents aged 19-24 showed multi-core cross-linkage,mainly longdistance migration flow, while the migration network of residents aged 25 and above showed multi-core radiation linkage, mainly short-distance migration flow. The areas of high-traffic nodes of all ages are basically the same, but the traffic of each node gradually decreases with the increase of age group. The structure of the communities where residents aged 25-59 live is relatively stable, and each community is mainly composed of adjacent or similar spatial units, and the phenomenon of "mutual encroachment" between communities is not obvious. However, the community structure of residents aged 19-24 and 60 and above is chaotic, the phenomenon of "mutual encroachment" between communities is obvious, and there are a large number of different community groups within the community.(2)Characteristics of relocation within the space unit. There are obvious differences in the spatial distribution of the relocation intensity of residents of different ages in Wuhan. The intensity of residents moving in and out of the inner ring road is higher than that of the outer ring road; The intensity of the inner ring road for residents aged 25 and above is lower than the intensity of moving out,and the intensity of moving in the outer ring road is greater than the intensity of moving out.The area with high migration intensity of residents aged 19-29 is widely distributed between ring roads, but this range gradually shrinks towards the main urban area as the age group increases. At the same time, there was a significant positive spatial correlation between the intensity of migration and the intensity of migration of residents of all ages. The relationship between the size of the high-high cluster area in the three towns of Wuhan is that the area of Hankou> Wuchang> Hanyang, and the area of the high-high cluster area of Donghu High-tech Zone gradually decreases or even disappears with age.The range of low-low aggregation was basically the same for all age groups, mainly between the third ring and the fourth ring. There are not many high-low aggregation and low-high aggregation spatial units, and only a small number exist in the form of points.(3)The impact of the built environment on residents’ relocation.Under the dimensions of public service facilities, transportation convenience and living environment, the impact of each built environment factor on the relocation of residents without life cycle is different, among which the factors with different characteristics include parks, sports venues and facilities, primary and secondary schools, bus stations, subway stations, tertiary hospitals, and POI mixing degree, while the characteristics of other factors are relatively single.
