Application Of Cyberpunk Visual Elements In Conceptual Design Of Commercial Space

Cyberpunk is the combination of "Cyber" and "punk".Cyberpunk is mostly described in the future,based on the combination of "low life and high technology",with advanced science and technology,and then compared with a certain degree of collapse of the social structure.Later,it extended from literature to films,games and other media,and gave birth to Cyberpunk culture.At the same time,it has also evolved into a visual aesthetic style,which has been applied to many areas of daily life.This paper focuses on the in-depth analysis and research of the design application of the visual elements of Cyberpunk style in commercial space,and proposes the design concept of the feasibility of the application of the visual elements of Cyberpunk style in commercial space design.Since the 1980 s,we have seen the popularity of a large number of cyberpunk works,which has gradually become an important cultural phenomenon.Cyberpunk culture has affected literature,film,music,games and other fields.Cyberpunk has the characteristics of high recognition,which has certain reference value for the innovative design of commercial space.Color,lighting,modeling and materials are important visual elements of its style.The lighting design of Cyberpunk indoor space emphasizes cool colors and bright colors,such as gray,blue,red,purple,etc.LED light bars and neon lights are usually used to enhance the sense of science fiction.In the works of Cyberpunk style,the scattered light source is generally used,and the natural light source is hardly used.The interweaving and transformation between the lights are emphasized to highlight the unique lighting design effect.Due to the highly developed technology and industrialization of Cyberpunk World,the selection of space materials will be represented by metal,acrylic,glass and electronic materials,and most of them will be based on industrialization,mechanization and futuristic,creating a cold,mysterious,mechanical and scientific atmosphere.Color phenomenon is the essential phenomenon of human vision,and also the main form factor of human access to information.Cyberpunk indoor space usually uses dark color,metallic color,fluorescent color and other colors to create a unique sense of the future.The colors of the space include yellow,black,blue and cyan.The combination of dark and light colors creates a unique visual effect and creates a visual focus.The modeling design of Cyberpunk interior space usually integrates some high-tech elements,futuristic,mechanized and strong personality characteristics,and often uses a large number of technical elements,such as geometric lighting,VR projection,electronic screen,etc.The modeling of the used equipment can make the space look more high-tech and futuristic.Cyberpunk pays attention to personalized decoration,which includes some futuristic decorations,various strange sculptures,artistic graffiti on the wall,strange displays,etc.These decorations can make the space more personalized and creative.In short,the application of Cyberpunk visual elements can bring unique style and atmosphere to the commercial space,improve the brand image and attract the attention of the younger generation of consumers.However,in the process of application,it is necessary to pay attention to balance the brand characteristics and the needs of the target audience,and avoid excessive use of Cyberpunk elements leading to too monotonous and rigid space design.In the design,users’ needs,space functions,brand characteristics and other factors need to be fully considered to make reasonable use of Cyberpunk visual elements,and create a commercial space with brand recognition,functionality,beauty and user experience.
