As global economy continues to develop,there is an increasingly fierce market competition within the auto parts industry.Enterprises should not only grasp their core competitiveness,but also do a good job in production and operation.The performance of enterprises is closely correlated with their employees’ individual performance,so the performance appraisal system needs to be continuously optimized and improved to adapt to the enterprise development strategy under the new situation.This research takes the front-line employees of A Auto Parts Company as the research objects.By referring to the latest research results of performance appraisal at home and abroad in the past five years,based on the company’s actual situation,it compares multiple performance appraisal tools,and finally choses the KPI to improve the current performance appraisal of the company.After conducting questionnaires and interviews with employees at all levels of A auto parts company,it was concluded that there were four problems in the company’s performance appraisal system: unscientific index setting,lack of openness and transparency,lack of communication feedback,and single application of results.These problems were mainly caused by the following factors.For example,leaders did not pay sufficient attention to;There was insufficient awareness of performance appraisal;There was a lack of professional personnel;and there was no perfect system guarantee.Based on the improvement principle of performance appraisal system,the corresponding improvement measures were put forward in order to solve the existing problems,including the establishment of scientific performance appraisal index system,and the standardization of the organization and implementation of performance appraisal.Besides,some corresponding safeguard measures were proposed to implement the performance appraisal improvement measures.Through the improvement research of this paper,it not only improved the company’s internal management level,but also promoted a good performance appraisal culture atmosphere within the organization.Furthermore,this research also provided a practical case for the auto parts manufacturing industry and enriched the research results of performance appraisal.Therefore,it had a certain reference significance for the auto parts manufacturing industry.
