| Under the dual background of high proportion of renewable energy to the grid and the gradual expansion of the peak-to-valley difference in the load curve, the generation-side unit reserve capacity can no longer support the supply-demand balance of the power system,so the local load-side demand response(DR)comes into being.Demand-side management can achieve the same effect as generation-side resources by encouraging local customers to actively change their own way of using electricity. As the most widely distributed and used demand-side resource, thermostatically controlled loads(TCL)have great potential to participate in grid-assisted applications,so it is of great practical significance to study the control strategy of TCL participation in grid demand response. Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the control strategy of TCL participation in grid demand response. In this paper,we focus on the model and operating characteristics of temperaturecontrolled loads, cluster state statistical information,Signal broadcasting communication method, and users’ willingness to participate, and explore the control strategy for large-scale TCL participation in grid demand response:(1)A method of obtaining statistical information of TCL cluster state based on partial sampling is proposed.Firstly, from three aspects of capacity characteristics, operation characteristics and response characteristics,it is estimated that the most ideal demand response resources are water heaters and air conditioners.Secondly,a generic temperature state normalized value is created for load units with different operating modes and temperature control intervals. Then a temperature state based on the first-order equivalent thermal parameter(ETP)model is constructed probability density function based on the first-order ETP model,a parameter estimation method for the normalized temperature probability density function is given, and finally an algorithm for obtaining other cluster statistics based on partial sampling is given.(2)Based on the above statistical information acquisition methods,a TCL demand response control strategy based on cluster state statistical information and signal broadcast communication method is given.Firstly, the differences between this strategy and the detailed state information-based and point-to-point communication method are compared, and the reasons for adopting this strategy in the cell selection link in large-scale TCL clusters are explained. Finally, the accuracy of the cluster state statistical information acquisition method adopted in this strategy is verified by arithmetic simulation.(3)Based on the cluster state statistics information and the signal broadcast method,a TCL demand response control strategy considering the willingness of user participation is further proposed.Firstly, the overall application flowchart of this strategy is presented by combining local user side and aggregator side algorithms.Secondly,it is verified that the strategy can reflect the difference of users’ willingness in the regulation process. Then the load regulation deviations of the three control strategies under different cluster sizes are compared, and it is proved that the strategy is more suitable for large-scale TCL clusters. Finally,we compare the load regulation deviations under different sampling ratios and prove that the use of different cell selection methods does not affect the overall effect. |
