| Assembled Concrete Column-Steel Beam Combined Frame Structure With the advantages of both steel and concrete structures, the joints of RCS composite frame is the core of the design and research of RCS composite frame structure system. However,China’s research on RCS composite frame structure started late, there are few relevant codes to specify and recommend the design. Therefore, this paper proposed a new type of RCS combined jointss, and conducted a preliminary study on the damage mechanism and seismic performance of the joints through the proposed static low circumferential repeated load test and ABAQUS finite element simulation. The following is the main research work of this paper:1)A new type of prefabricated outer ring hoop plate sleeve with a spacer inside is proposed as a bolt-welded combined concrete column-steel beam edge joints, and the construction form and connection method of this joints are described in detail.2)After the proposed static test, the seismic performance of this edge joints was investigated. The results of the experimental study show that when the load capacity of this new edge joints specimen drops to about 85% of the peak load capacity, plastic hinging occurs and out-of-plane buckling of the steel beam occurs.3)A FEM model of the edge joints was developed using ABAQUS and simulated in a proposed static test. The simulation results were compared with the test results to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the finite element model.Through improvement, several models were built to study the effect of different parameters on the seismic performance of this edge joints. The findings show that the peak bearing capacity of the specimen is increased with the increase of steel strength. However, the capacity of deformation of the specimen decreases under high axial pressure ratio, and the increase of axial pressure ratio after exceeding a certain range is not conducive to the seismic performance of the joints specimen. With the increase of the height of the steel beam, the peak bearing capacity of the specimen is increased. The thickness of bearing shear plate and outer ring hoop plate sleeve can improve the peak bearing capacity of the specimen in a small range, but once the selection is too large,it will reduce the overall seismic performance of the specimen and waste steel.4)Copula functions were introduced to assess the seismic vulnerability of frame structures using this RCS combination joints. It was shown that the effect of whether or not to consider floor correlation on the vulnerability of the RCS composite joints frame structure system is progressively more significant as the performance level increases. The influence of correlation on the structure needs to be considered in practical engineering performance analysis. |
