| Highway bridges are indispensable infrastructure in the transportation industry,and cracks are the most common form of its disease.The width of cracks directly affects the safe operation of highway bridges.Therefore,detecting the width of cracks on the surface of bridges is an essential part of bridge maintenance work,which is of great significance for ensuring the safety of the main structure of bridges and the lives and properties of people.Aiming at the current situation of traditional artificial detection of bridge cracks and the drawbacks of related detection systems such as large volume,inconvenient operation,low detection efficiency,and being too independent from the management and maintenance system,this paper proposes a portable bridge surface crack detection and digital archive system based on Android.This paper takes concrete bridge surface cracks as the research object,and conducts research on the hardware design of portable handheld image acquisition devices,bridge surface crack image processing algorithms,crack width measurement algorithms,Android application and development technology,MVVM software architecture design mode with front and rear end separation,and Web front end development technology,developed a portable bridge surface crack detection and digital archive system based on Android.Firstly,a portable handheld image acquisition device is designed with the help of the ARM core processing unit to capture high-definition crack images of the bridge surface;And completes the image transmission task through its wireless transmission module.Subsequently,based on the Android platform and combined with digital image processing technology,a crack high-precision measurement APP was developed.Through preprocessing such as image graying,enhancement,and filtering,and using an improved Canny edge detection algorithm to achieve high-precision extraction of the crack contour,the average width and maximum width of the crack were obtained based on the edge tangent method.Finally,pixels were converted into length data required for actual measurement based on camera calibration.In addition,the app also includes functions such as bridge site information collection,bridge crack detection,regular inspection records,and disease information uploading.It also designs a local LitaPal database table.At the same time,adopting the front end and rear end separation architecture to complete the design and research of the bridge digital management and maintenance platform Web end.The front end uses JavaScript,HTML and other scripting languages to implement coding based on Vue.js framework,and designs the server MySQL database table,which is technically progressiveness.Finally,the software and hardware platform of the system has been built and tested to ensure the normal operation of the entire system.Further,on-site comparative experiments have been conducted on the measurement accuracy of crack width.The experimental result shows that the system can measure the crack width of the bridge surface with high accuracy,with a measurement accuracy of sub pixel level and an error of less than 0.1 mm.Moreover,the device is easy to operate,greatly facilitating the use of testing personnel at the testing site;And it has strong application value to achieve digital management of bridge basic information,disease information,and maintenance information. |
