Additive manufacturing molding is an advanced manufacturing technology developed on the basis of computer technology,CNC technology, laser technology and new materials.Unlike traditional cutting and molding methods, additive manufacturing molding products are made by stacking layer upon layer of materials. As the main equipment used in additive manufacturing, fused deposition type(FDM)3D printers are widely used because of their simple structure and low cost. The homogeneity of the slicing process of FDM printers can affect the molding accuracy and processing efficiency. This thesis conducts research accordingly, focusing on slicing layering and filling path planning, etc. The main research includes the following aspects.Firstly, the STL format file is analyzed, and for the problem of redundant vertices in the reading process, the hash function is designed to remove redundancy using the hash table method to speed up the data processing efficiency.Secondly, for the phenomenon of step effect and the loss of model features that will occur in the printing process,an improved adaptive algorithm for retaining model features is designed for identifying model features and recording feature heights and slicing processing.Firstly, the model features are identified and the height of the model features is recorded. Then, the adaptive stratification is used to reduce the staircase effect between the model features, and the layer thickness is adjusted at the feature height to achieve the purpose of retaining the model features.Thirdly, the method of printing fill paths is investigated, and a composite fill scan method is used for filling, generating the boundary and adjacent areas of the sliced layer by contour bias method and the internal areas of the sliced layer by zonal parallel filling method;Aiming at the problem of empty stroke printing in the process of multi-contour level printing, ant colony algorithm is used to plan the path between contours to reduce the empty stroke path. Finally, this study carries out experimental validation of the above method, introduces the experimental platform built for the experiments as well as the generation method, and uses the platform for printing experiments. The experiments prove that the slicing and layering algorithm and the filling algorithm proposed in this thesis are feasible, and their combined application is important for printing the surface quality of objects and improving the printing efficiency in practical applications.
