| In recent years,with the development of China’s social economy,fire accidents have become more frequent.When a fire occurs in a building,the complexity of the structure and the opacity of the thick smoke make it difficult for the external firefighting command center to determine the actual situation and location of the firefighters.This leads to poor allocation and scheduling,and an inability to provide timely assistance in case the firefighters encounter danger,resulting in a reduction in the efficiency of rescue operations and a potential threat to the firefighters’ safety.Therefore,in-depth research on indoor positioning systems for firefighters is of great significance in ensuring their safety.This article proposes a firefighter positioning system that integrates BP neural networks and DS-TWR ranging technology based on an analysis of existing positioning technologies and considering fire conditions.The system consists of hardware and software components.The hardware includes five parts: the tag worn by firefighters,stationary base stations,a POE switch for powering the base stations,a router for assigning IP addresses to the base stations,and a computer for operation and display.The software system is developed based on the Lab VIEW programming platform,which collects and analyzes distance information between the base stations and tags and imports it into the BP neural network for positioning calculation.This method eliminates the error of DS-TWR ranging,resulting in higher positioning accuracy.Additionally,the computer can display the firefighter’s movement trajectory,real-time position,and alarm when the firefighter remains motionless for a long time.This article presents the results of functional testing of a firefighter positioning system,which includes testing for static positioning accuracy and stability,dynamic positioning accuracy,trajectory display functionality,and alarm display functionality.The experimental results indicate that the system has high positioning accuracy and excellent stability,and is able to fully perform each function as intended.The fire command center can determine the location and movement trajectory of firefighters through the computer display interface.In case of firefighters being trapped or encountering danger,the system can promptly issue alarms,providing significant technical support and reference for fire rescue work. |
