Vocational education is a fertile ground for cultivating high-skilled talents and a source of power for China’s high-quality development.China attaches great importance to the training of skilled personnel,and has introduced a number of reform policies to focus on building a team of highly skilled personnel in the new era.The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that it is necessary to fully implement the Party’s educational policy and implement the fundamental task of educating people by virtue.The rail transit industry has developed rapidly in recent years,and the demand for talents is huge,and the quality of operation is related to safety.The professionalism and skill of operation determine that talent training needs high quality and high standards.Vocational education shoulders the responsibility of cultivating skilled talents.How to meet the needs of enterprises,effectively cultivate talents and promote social development is a problem that needs in-depth study at present.Teaching reform in secondary vocational schools is one of the most basic and key links.At present,secondary vocational education is still shackled by traditional teaching ideas and single teaching mode,so it is difficult to completely reform the current situation of student training,and it is imperative to explore new teaching methods.Based on the actual needs,combined with the investigation of enterprises,teachers and students,and the reflection on the practice of front-line teaching posts,this study explores a new way of applying situational teaching method to carry out classes from the perspective of vocational ability training.The general idea of this study is to "walk on two legs" by questionnaire and interview,analyze the current situation of education and teaching and the ability demand of enterprises,summarize the current teaching situation of rail transit specialty in secondary vocational schools,and sort out the vocational ability to be cultivated.Guided by the current situation and the goal of vocational ability,this study reconstructs the course content,changes the teaching space and innovates the teaching methods,and measures the improvement of students’ vocational ability by carrying out field situational teaching practice.On the basis of the preliminary investigation,this study takes constructivism,situational cognition and pragmatism as the theoretical support,and takes the positioning of the professional course "Urban rail Transit Station Equipment" as the standard to innovate the teaching design of secondary vocational station equipment course.In this study,the cultivation of vocational ability is summarized as "three principles" and "five strategies",and the methods of cultivating students’ vocational ability are refined.Guided by the working process,the course content is redivided into 8 systems and 18 modules,and each module is equipped with teaching applicable situations.Based on the three-dimensional goals,the corresponding professional teaching goals are designed and refined to each module.The whole teaching process takes the post work task as a reference and creates the actual working situation.In the process of carrying out situational teaching,based on the real,comprehensive,interactive and operable principles of situational creation,this study innovates the four-step situational creation method of "analysis","association","investigation" and "creation".And the four forms of "dynamic","static","virtual" and "real" enrich the way of situation presentation.Through diversified teaching AIDS,virtual training equipment and new training space,the four steps of "creation","learning","performance" and "evaluation" situational teaching designed in this study are completed.The whole teaching process runs through five teaching stages: situational immersion experience,basic knowledge reserve,practical tasks,emergency handling drill,summary and evaluation of excellence.Various teaching resources,such as Seewo whiteboard,virtual equipment and auxiliary tools,are used to carry out activities in the brand-new teaching space.In this study,the teaching method is applied to carry out a semester’s teaching practice,and the two modules of platform door and fire system are taken as examples to demonstrate the teaching.Teaching measurement takes four kinds of evaluation,two kinds of achievement and one communication as the means to analyze the teaching effect in multiple dimensions.The results prove the effectiveness of situational teaching from the perspective of vocational ability and the feasibility of its popularization and application.
