Research On Programming And Design Of Luxi Transport Complex Under The Background Of Holistic Tourism

This study is a part of the project "Planning and Design Project of Luxi Transportation Complex" of Zhejiang University-Dongtou Joint Center for Architecture and Urban-Rural Development.Based on the holistic tourism in Dongtou District,this study takes Luxi Town as an important part of the holistic tourism in Dongtou District,investigates the development status of Luxi Town,deeply understands the characteristics of Luxi Town’s outlying islands,and comprehensively considers various factors such as Luxi Town’s development strategy and Luxi Wharf project positioning,and puts forward the planning scheme of Luxi Transportation Complex.I have the honor to participate in the planning and research work of this project as a team member,and on this basis,I completed the scheme design as the graduation design achievement of the master’s stage.The planning and design of Luxi Transportation Complex can effectively improve the local passenger service facilities,supplement the tourism service format and public activity space,meet the actual needs of residents and tourists,and inherit the characteristics of outlying islands,so as to activate the vitality of island towns and further promote the integrated development of Damen-Luxi.The work content of Luxi Transportation Complex Project mainly includes two parts: planning research and scheme design.Through on-the-spot investigation and literature retrieval,the research team conducted an all-round investigation and research on the basic situation,social economy,historical evolution,special culture,tourism resources,spatial pattern,architectural features and Luxi Wharf.After combing the advantages and disadvantages of Luxi Town’s development,combined with the background of holistic tourism development,it analyzed the existing problems and development needs,and clearly built a comprehensive service project based on Luxi’s characteristics and integrating multiple functional formats.Considering the site,architecture and format,this scheme puts forward the planning strategy of respecting the original site texture,integrating multiple public spaces,refining special cultural symbols,shaping regional architectural style,constructing multi-layer transportation network and supplementing the island tourism format,and carries out specific format planning from two aspects of transportation distribution and tourism service.On the basis of planning and research,the team communicated with the local government repeatedly to form a "task book",and I completed the specific scheme design of the terminal traffic complex,and presented it with technical drawings and analysis diagrams as the graduation design results in the master’s stage.
