Traditional Patterns Based On The Concept Of "Slow Design" Application In Home Styling Design

I was going through the postscript to “Has Man a Future?” And I was struck by a passage from Mr.Liang Shuming.According to Liang,there are three major problems facing human beings: the problem of man to thing,the problem of man to man,and the problem of man to himself.1 Complex times,busy people,eventually have to face their hearts,and this face,in today,become more difficult,but also more urgent.As a new design concept,the concept of“Slow design” hopes that designers and experiencers can realize the disadvantages brought by the fast pace and communicate better with the surrounding environment and things,to pursue spiritual experiences rather than following the trend of consumerism and materialism;to encourage people to slow down and focus on their mind,environment,traditions,and pace their lives,to experience life and the world at a slow,deep level,to appreciate and be able to care about the lost social and humanistic spirit.In the transition from an agricultural society to a Industrial society one and from a traditional society to a modern one,the abundance of commodities not only dramatically changed people’s way of life and ideas,the material and cultural foundation on which many traditional cultures depend has been greatly shaken and the tendency of decline has followed.This design broke the traditional pattern of graphic design attributes,the traditional pattern of exquisite shape into the home modeling design,so that the three-dimensional plane pattern,can also increase the cultural connotation of home products and home design in the fun.
