| The prediction of the global climate change model shows that the frequency and intensity of various snow disasters are showing an increasing trend,snow damage in trees is becoming more and more serious.Trees are very important natural resources,but a large number of trees are destroyed by snow damage every year,which not only causes great waste of resources and hinder economic growth,but also destroy urban garden trees,and break infrastructure.Therefore,the analysis and monitoring of tree strength under snow load is significance for protecting trees and ecology.The elastic modulus of trunk is the main mechanical property of trees,and it is also the premise and basis for analyzing the strength of trees under snow load.This paper adopts the method of applying angle tension on the trunk to directly measure the elastic modulus of trees without destroying the trees.This paper proposes a new method for measuring the stress/strain under snow load of trees and branches,and monitors the strength of trunk and branches under snow load in real time.In this paper,theory derivation combined with experiment and practice is adopted.The mechanics characteristics and fracture behavior of camphor,Metasequoia and sabina chinensis under snow load were studied.The main research contents are shown as follows.1.The elastic modulus of the tree by applying force to the trunk.The elastic modulus of tree is the basis and premise of tree strength monitoring under snow load.In this paper,the elastic modulus of the trunk is measured by angle sensor,and compares the result with the elastic modulus measured by the displacement sensor.2.Based on the principle of mechanics,this paper propose a new mechanical method to analyze the strength of trunk and branch under snow load.The method is using displacement sensor and angle sensor to measure the stress and strain of trunk.The validity of the method is verified by tree pulling test.3.According to the method proposed in this paper,the stress and strain of trunk and branch are measured by displacement sensor and Angle sensor in heavy snow,and the relationship between the stress and strain of trunk and branch and the depth of snow is quantified,so that the strength of the tree can be monitored in real time... |
