| Forage oats(Avena.sativa L.)is an annual crop and feed that is widely cultivated worldwide and is one of the main feeds for livestock.Annual ryegrass(Lolium multiflorum L.)is a fast-growing grass species with high-quality and one of the important pasture species in southern China.In order to provide variety suggestions and management measures for the promotion of planting forages in the winter fallow field of Chengdu Plain,this study selected 5commonly used ryegrass varieties(Big Boss,Tetragold,Abundant,Orger04,Coreden)and 5oat varieties(Haymaker,Forageplus,Aba,Cayuse,Qinghai 444)conducted field trials in Chongzhou base of Sichuan Agricultural University,comparing the performances of different phenological periods,agronomic traits and nutritional quality,and screening for excellent forage varieties adapative to production of fodder in the Chengdu Plain.At the same time we compare the effect of two cuttings and traditional one-time cutting on production performance of tested oat varieties.The main results of this experiment are as follows:(1)There was no significant difference in the growth period of ryegrass.In terms of winter growth rate,corydon(0.409cm/d)was the fastest,indicating that keruideng had winter growth advantages and good cold resistance.The lowest winter growth rate of 5 varieties of multiflorous ryegrass also reached 0.350cm/d,indicating that multiflorous ryegrass had excellent cold resistance.The growth rate of regenerated ryegrass reached 1.500cm/d after mowing for 5 varieties of multiflorous ryegrass,indicating that the regenerated ryegrass had strong regeneration ability and mowed resistance,so it could be mowed many times in winter fallow field.The annual output of fresh grass is from large to small in the order of Coreden(73600kg/hm2)>Abundant(69055 kg/hm2)> Orger04(64633 kg/hm2)> Tetragold(62807kg/hm2)> Bigboss(61444 kg/hm2).The keruideng field showed high growth rate and high grass yield,which was suitable for planting in Chengdu plain.(2)There was no significant difference in the growth period of oat cultivars.Five forage oats material the total annual disposable mowing grass production order from large to small is Cayuse(76989 kg/hm2)> Aba(70100 kg/hm2)> Forageplus(64011 kg/hm2)>Haymaker(62144 kg/hm2)> Qinghai 444(44722 kg/hm2),were greater than the second mowing,and its regeneration grass growth rate is below 0.440 cm/d,oat regeneration ability is not strong,mowing resistance is weak,not suitable for many times to cut.The xiaoma was the ideal variety to be planted in Chengdu plain.(3)Grey correlation method and DTOPSIS method were used to carry out comprehensive sequencing for 10 tested varieties,and the sequencing was from front to back: Coreden,Abundant,Big boss,Orger04,Tetragold,Cayuse,Aba,Haymaker,Forageplus and Qinghai444.The order of the tested varieties of multiflorous ryegrass was all higher than that of forage oat,indicating that the production performance of the tested multiflorous ryegrass in Chengdu plain was better than that of forage oat and more suitable for planting and production in Chengdu Plain. |
