| Yellow-feather broilers are a characteristic poultry industry in China,and occupy a very important position in China’s broiler industry.With the development of society,yellow-feather broilers will be slaughtered and marketed.The traits of breeding and selection have changed from the appearance of the chicken to the appearance of the carcass.Skin coloration and color uniformity have become a very important economic index.This project uses "Qingyuan Mochi","Green-foot Mochi(N812 strain)",and "Ephedra Feather Broiler(N204 strain)" as materials to carry out research on the selection method of yellow feather broiler skin yellow.First,the colorimeter is used to study the parameters of chicken skin yellowness.In addition,the Qingyuan Mochi hen was used as the test material,and the colorimeter was used to measure the skin of three parts(shoulder,chest,buttocks)at the age of 127 days.Yellowness,after slaughtering chickens,measure the yellowness of the carcass belly skin,and analyze the correlation between the three parts of the living body and the yellowness of the carcass belly.Secondly,with Green-foot Mochi(N812 strain)hen as the test material,the yellowness of live buttocks and the yellowness of abdominal fat after slaughter were measured at 105 days of age,and the correlation between the yellowness of live buttocks and the yellowness of abdominal fat after slaughter was analyzed.Thirdly,with Ephedra feather broiler(N204 strain)as the test material,male and female chicken skin yellows(shoulder,breast,buttocks)were measured at 70 and 91 days of age,respectively,and the correlation between the yellow skin in the early stage and the yellow in the late stage was analyzed.According to the 91-day-old skin yellowness,the high-direction selection line was established,and the skin yellow of the offspring high-direction line and the control line were measured,and the actual breeding effect of the yellowness feather was analyzed,which provided a theoretical basis for the future selection of yellowness feather broilers.The results show:1.The a parameter of the colorimeter represents the yellowness of chicken skin.Although the b parameter is called the yellowness value,it cannot be used to measure the yellowness of chicken skin.2.The study of the skin yellowness of 127-day-old Qingyuan Mochi hen showed that the skin yellowness of different parts has a very significant correlation(P<0.01),and the buttocks skin yellowness and the abdomen yellowness after slaughter are significantly correlated(P<0.05),indicating that the deposition of chicken skin yellow pigment has tissue specificity,and the yellowness of the buttocks skin can be used as an indicator of chicken skin yellowness selection.3.The research results of 105 days Green-footed Mochi N812 strain showed that the yellowness of the skin on the hips of living organisms has a very significant correlation with the yellowness of abdominal fat(P<0.01),indicating that choosing skin yellowness can also increase the yellowness of abdominal fat.Skin yellowness can be used as an indirect selection indicator of abdominal fat yellowness.4.The study of Jute Chicken N204 strain showed that the skin yellowness of 70 days old and 90 days of age had a very significant correlation(P<0.01).The skin yellowness increased with the increase of age,indicating that the early selection This kind has a certain effect on improving the yellowness of the skin in the later stage,and the yellowness of the skin can be selected early.5.The heritability of chicken shoulder skin yellowness is 0.105,breast skin yellowness heritability is 0.117,belly skin yellowness heritability is 0.119,the average heritability of three parts is 0.114,chicken skin yellowness heritability is low In terms of improvement,the effect of individual selection methods is poor.The information of siblings and father and son should be used as much as possible to improve the accuracy of breeding value estimation,which is helpful to the improvement of skin yellowness.6.The skin yellowness of the offspring of the skin-yellow high-directed line was significantly different from that of the control line(P<0.05),indicating that the breeding value of phenotypic data was used to select breeds,which had a good effect on the improvement of chicken skin yellowness. |
