Study On The Government’s Ideological And Political Education To Fishermen In The Construction Of Fishery Cooperatives In The Early Period Of New China

The purpose of ideological and political education is to make the educational objects’ ideas,behaviors and social activities achieve the expected results through the activities of ideological and political education.In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the Communist Party of China took necessary administrative means and powerful economic measures to achieve the initial stability of the country in order to quickly stabilize people’s hearts and strive for the overall improvement of financial and economic conditions.Specifically,in June 1953,at the enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,the CPC Central Committee for the first time fully elaborated the general line and general tasks of the Party during the transition period.That is to say,in a fairly long period of time,the socialist industrialization of the country will be gradually realized,and the socialist transformation of agriculture,handicraft industry and capitalist industry and commerce will be gradually realized.Since then,with the promotion of agricultural socialist transformation,fishery cooperative construction started and got full development.Lehui County and Qiongdong County(now qionghai City of Hainan Province),located in the east of Hainan Province,experienced three development stages of mutual assistance group,elementary society and advanced society under the interaction of fishermen,fishery cooperative society and government.In this process,the government has carried out active ideological and political education for fishermen through guidance,education and management,and fishermen’s attitude towards cooperatives has changed from utilitarian support and intermittent resistance to passive acceptance.In general,the socialist transformation of fishery is an important part in the process of agricultural socialist transformation,and also the basis for the long-term development of China’s fishery collectivization.Therefore,exploring the ideological and political education activities carried out by the government to fishermen in the process of promoting the construction of fishery cooperatives can provide corresponding experience and reference for promoting the development of the cause of the Party and the country.
