Due to the ease of large-scale farming and good reproductive performance,Hu sheep have developed rapidly in Anhui Province in recent years.In order to further improve the economic benefits of breeding Hu sheep,the East Lake hybrid was carried out by studying the body weight and body size of Donghu hybrid sheep and Hu sheep from birth to October,the slaughter performance of eight-month-old sheep,the reproductive performance of breeding ewes,milk production and milk quality.Sheep hybridization effect analysis.The correlation analysis between the number of lambs and the GDF9 gene was carried out in Donghu hybrid sheep and Hu sheep.The results of this study are as follows:(1)Comparison of growth and development performance between Donghu hybrid sheep and purebred Hu sheep: The body weight and daily gain of Donghu hybrid sheep from birth to tenth age were higher than those of Hu sheep.The weight of Donghu hybrid sheep and rams was significantly higher than that of Hu sheep at the age of four months(P<0.05),and the body weight of the sheep at six months and eight months was significantly higher than that of Hu sheep(P<0.01).The weight of Donghu hybrid sheep ewes was significantly higher than that of Hu sheep at the age of six months and eight months(P<0.05).This shows that the offspring of Donghu hybrid sheep have good heterosis.(2)Comparison of slaughter performance between Donghu hybrid sheep and purebred Hu sheep: the live weight and slaughter rate of Donghu hybrid sheep are higher than those of Hu sheep.The ophthalmia of Donghu hybrid sheep was significantly higher than that of Hu sheep(P<0.01).The drip loss of Donghu hybrid sheep and ram was significantly lower than that of Hu sheep(P<0.05).The L* value of Donghu hybrid sheep and ram was significantly higher than that of Hu sheep(P<0.05),and the shear force of Donghu hybrid sheep and ram mutton was significantly lower than that of Hu sheep(P<0.01).(3)Comparison of reproductive performance between Donghu hybrid sheep and purebred Hu sheep: In this experiment,Donghu hybrid sheep still retains the excellent performance of multiple lambs in one litter,and the lambing rate is 229.51%.The weaning survival rate of Donghu hybrid sheep was 92.14% higher than that of Hu sheep88.29%.(4)Comparison of lactation performance between Donghu hybrid sheep and purebred Hu sheep: the total milk production of Donghu hybrid sheep within 5 to 45 days was significantly higher than that of purebred Hu sheep(P<0.01).The milk production of Donghu hybrid sheep on the 25 th and 40 th days after lambing was significantly higher than that of Hu sheep(P<0.05),and the milk production of Donghu hybrid sheep on the 30 th and 35 th days after lambing was significantly higher than that of Hu sheep(P<0.05).0.01).The lactation performance of Donghu hybrid offspring was significantly improved.(5)In this experiment,C→T mutation was found at 224 bp of Donghu hybrid sheep.Three genotypes of TT,TC and CC were found in both Hu sheep and Donghu hybrid sheep.The lambing rate of the three genotypes in Hu sheep was not significantly different,but the lambing rate of TT and TC type of Donghu hybrid sheep was significantly higher than that of CC type(P<0.05).To sum up,the Donghu hybrid sheep,on the one hand,has the advantages of high fertility,high lactation ability,and rapid growth rate in the early stage of the Hu sheep,and at the same time,the lactation performance has been significantly improved.Therefore,Donghu hybrid sheep has good production and promotion value.
