Application And Research Of Lotus In The Jianghuai Watershed

Lotus(Nelumbo nucifera)has a long history of cultivation in my country.It is one of the top ten traditional Chinese flowers and has always been loved by people.The lotus is also a common aquatic flower in the Jianghuai watershed area,and has extremely high application value,such as ornamental value,edible value,and cultural value.Lotus is widely used in garden design and is commonly found in wetland parks,botanical gardens,special lotus gardens,city parks and other places.Therefore,the study of lotus species resources and applications will help the application of lotus in garden landscape design.This paper takes lotus as the object and takes the Jianghuai watershed area as the application area,explores the various application levels of lotus,and discusses the Chinese lotus culture.On the basis of investigating the natural situation and lotus variety resources in the Jianghuai watershed area,and analyzing the application cases of lotus,the ornamental characteristics and application classification of lotus were studied.Through the design of actual cases,the characteristics and application modes of the lotus landscape in the Jianghuai watershed area are summarized.The research content and results of this paper are as follows:(1)The current situation of lotus resources at home and abroad was introduced through the review of literature,and the application value of lotus,such as ornamental value,edible and medicinal value,and ecological value,was analyzed and summarized.(2)Through the literature research method,with cultural factors such as poetry,painting,religion,folklore,gardens,etc.,the development of Chinese Lotus culture is explored.(3)The variety classification of lotus was studied by its plant type,petal type,flower color and other characters and the application direction of lotus.(4)The survey concluded that there are 79 species of lotus species resources in the Jianghuai watershed area.There are 65 species of Hualien,7 species of Zilian,and 7species of lotus root,some of which are used for food,appreciation and medicine.(5)On the basis of case analysis and research,the planning practice of lotus garden—Xinye Pengjing lotus garden was carried out;and the characteristics suitable for the construction of lotus landscape in the Jianghuai watershed area were summarized,which was the basis for the construction of lotus landscape in the Jianghuai watershed area and lotus-themed agriculture.The construction of the garden provides the corresponding planning and design mode.
