| Idesia polycarpa(Ip)Maxim,a deciduous tree,belongs to Idesia in Salicaceae,which is a type of tree with high-quality and ornamental species.Through analysing variance,multiple comparison component of 19 growth characteristics of table clonal plant,growth characteristics,fruit phenotypic traits,grease composition,fruit biomass distribution,and related indicators,this article evaluated the traits difference of each clone comprehensively.Eventually showed that:1、There were significant differences among the 14 growth traits of different clones of Ip,and there were abundant variations in each trait index with the range of16.01~65.16% and the average coefficient of variation was 29.90%.The highest coefficient of variations was yield index(65.16%)and the lowest was crown height ratio(16.01%).Maximum average yield was DY1(43.9Kg)and minimum was SX6(2.22Kg).The yield traits of paulownia were significantly correlated with ground diameter,height of tree,average width of crown,the number of branches,length of backbone branch,thickness of backbone branch,and height of crown.2、There were significant differences in fruit phenotypic traits among different clones.The average coefficient of variation of fruit phenotypic traits ranged from5.19 to 13.96%,and the average coefficient of variation was 8.55%.JY1 had the best performance in length,width and weight of fruit cluster,and HB2 had the smallest longitudinal,transverse and lateral diameter of fruit.Yield was positively correlated with length,width and weight of fruit.Based on cluster analysing the fruit phenotypes of 19 clones of Ip,they could be divided into 5 groups.3、There were significant differences in crude fat and the contents of fatty acid among fruits of different clones.The variation range of oil composition was0.02~4.27%,and the average coefficient of variation was 1.11%.Maximum crude fat content was SX8(37.60%)and the lowest was HB5(17.00%).The linoleic acid content was the highest in JY1(64.35%)and the lowest in HB2(55.74%).Nineteen clones could be divided into four groups according to lipid composition with the mean distance of 15 as the threshold.4、There were significant differences in the total biomass of fruiting branches of different clones.JY1 had the highest biomass of stem,fruit and fruiting branches,and the biomass allocation of JY1 and JY2 in fruit accounted for most of the fruit branches.There was a significant positive correlation between stem weight and fruit weight,and there was a significant positive correlation between yield and petiole weight.There was allometric growth relationship between fruiting branch biomass and leaf biomass,isometric growth relationship between fruiting branch biomass and stem biomass,and isometric growth relationship between fruiting branch biomass and fruit biomass.Stem biomass and leaf biomass showed allometric growth,fruit biomass and stem biomass showed isometric growth,fruit biomass and leaf biomass showed allometric growth.5、Through principal component analysing,the top six clones were JY1,DY1,JY2,GZ1,HB1 and SX5.JY1 has the characteristics of large fruit weight,long fruit cluster,large fruit grains and high yield,but shorter tree body,small crown width,low oil content,low oleic acid and palmitoleic acid content.DY1 is characterized by vigorous tree growth,thick branches,high oil content and high yield.It belongs to short panicle with sparse fruit. |
