| This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of Astragalus polysaccharides(APS)and fermented wheat bran polysaccharides(FWBP)on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, blood biochemical indices, blood antioxidant indices and blood immune indices of dormo-han mutton sheep. The experiment selected 24 3-4month old dormo-han mutton sheep with good body condition and similar body weight(30±5kg),adopted a single factor random design, and divided them into four groups with six sheep in each group, among which the CON group was the control group, fed the basal diet;three experimental groups,FWBP group added 0.4% fermented wheat bran polysaccharides,APS group added 0.3% astragalus polysaccharides,HUN group added0.4% fermented wheat bran polysaccharides and 0.3% astragalus polysaccharides. The trial period is 75 days in total,of which the pre-trial period is 15 days and the positive trial period is 60 days. The test is mainly divided into the following parts:1.Effects of astragalus polysaccharides and fermented wheat bran polysaccharides on growth performance and nutrient digestibility of mutton sheepThe results showed that there was no significant difference in the initial weight and final weight of mutton sheep among the treatment groups(P>0.05);during the experimental period 0-30 d,there was no significant difference in growth performance among the treatment groups(P>0.05),but the average of the FWBP group was not significantly different(P>0.05).Compared with the CON group,APS group and HUN group, the daily weight gain increased by 6.6%,16.2% and 19.7%,respectively,and the feed-to-weight ratio decreased by 8.8%,12.1% and 9.5%.During the 30-60 days of the experiment, there was no significant difference in growth performance among the treatment groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in daily weight gain, dry matter intake and feed-to-weight ratio among the groups during the whole period of the experiment(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, there were no significant differences in DM,OM,NDF and ADF in each experimental group(P>0.05).Significant difference(P>0.05).2.Effects of astragalus polysaccharides and fermented wheat bran polysaccharides on blood biochemical indexes of mutton sheepThe results showed that compared with the control group, there was no significant difference in serum LDL,HDL,CHO,GLU,CREA,UA and UREA in each experimental group(P>0.05).The TG content in the FWBP group was significantly lower than that in the APS group(P<0.05),but not significantly different from the other two groups. It can be seen from Table 5 that the ALT content of the FWBP group was significantly lower than that of the CON group and APS group(P<0.05),but not significantly different from that of the HUN group;,ALP,AST and GGT had no significant difference(P>0.05).3.Effects of astragalus polysaccharides and fermented wheat bran polysaccharides on blood antioxidant indexes of mutton sheepThe results showed that the content of MDA in each experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P=0.05);compared with the control group, there was no significant difference in the activities of CAT,T-SOD,GSH and T-AOC in each experimental group(P>0.05s).Compared with the CON group, the activity of GSH-PX in the FWBP group was increased by 23%,and there was an increasing trend, but the difference was not significant(P=0.1).4.Effects of astragalus polysaccharides and fermented wheat bran polysaccharides on the immune performance of mutton sheepThe results showed that compared with the control group, the content of Ig M in each experimental group was increased, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05);Ig G,Ig A,TNF-α,IFN-γ,IL-1β in each experimental group had no significant difference compared with the control group(P>0.05),APS group and HUN group IL-2 content was significantly higher than that of CON group(P<0.05);IL-10 content of APS group and FWBP group was significantly higher than that of CON group(P<0.05),but was not significantly different from that of HUN group(P>0.05).In conclusion, the addition of fermented wheat bran polysaccharides in the diet can improve blood biochemical indicators;the addition of astragalus polysaccharides and fermented bran polysaccharides in the diet can improve the antioxidant properties of mutton sheep, regulate the content of cytokines, improve immune function, and promote animal health. |
