In view of the existing problems of high labor cost,difficult installation and deployment of existing automatic monitoring equipment,low accuracy of pest counting and high equipment cost in grain depots in China,after in-depth industry research and analysis,we develop the hardware and software of a data acquisition equipment for pests in grain pile,OITD-PIS,and the gateway device,OITD-RGW.The specific work completed is as follows:1.OITD-PIS,a sensor that automatically detects the number of pests in the grain pile based on probe tube trap.We designed the streamlined shape structure,pest drop detection device and detection circuit,and infrared photoelectric sequence data acquisition architecture with adaptive threshold,so that the equipment can be inserted up to 6 meters deep into the grain pile,and detect the number of pests in the grain pile stably and effectively.Also,the equipment has the capability of remote online upgrade.2.OITD-RGW,a gateway device to communicate between RS-485 bus and cloud server and convert the data.We design the hardware circuit based on Linux core board and the software with algorithm expansion ability,which can stably and reliably obtain various data from OITD-PIS,run the algorithm,store and upload the data,and receive the instructions and the latest device firmware from the cloud server.3.Considering the half duplex nature of RS-485 bus and the working environment,a set of networking communication protocol and communication process are designed,which supports multiple OITD-PIS equipment to access the bus,has no conflict during the communication,with errors able to be perceived.The practical application verifies that the communication protocol and process are stable and reliable,able to be applied to the actual grain depots.4.The system has been tested in actual grain depots for half a year,which proves its reliability and effectiveness in monitoring the occurrence of pests in the grain pile,and gives the direction and specific suggestions for further improvement of the equipment and system.
