In this paper, the North Qilian Mountains is taken as the research area to explore the distribution pattern and environmental response of Tenebrionidae. The grid analysis method is used to divide the area of North Qilian Mountains. In 73 effective grids, the number of species was counted, and the distribution pattern of Tenebrionidae in North Qilian Mountains and its relationship with environmental factors were analyzed in combination with the environmental factors of rainfall, temperature and solar radiation, and the main environmental factors affecting the distribution of Tenebrionidae in this area were obtained, which provided theoretical basis for the ecological distribution and biodiversity protection of Tenebrionidae in North Qilian Mountains. The results are as follows:(1)Species composition:A total of 5,818 beetles of Tenebrionidae were obtained through classification, identification and literature review(4,256 beetles were collected by the author;Literature statistics 1,562),belonging to 3 subfamilies,10 tribes,34 genera and 124 species. In terms of tribal level,Tentyriin is the largest number of species, including 41 species, accounting for 33.06%of the total species number; In terms of genus level,Blaps is the largest number of species, including 17 species, accounting for 13.71%of the total.(2)Distribution pattern:With the increase of latitude, the species number presents a unimodal change curve; As the longitude increases from west to east, the fitting curve shows an obvious asymmetric unimodal change trend; On the altitude gradient, there is a downward trend, and the number of species gradually decreases when it reaches more than 1,750m.(3)Relationship with meteorological factors:In the latitudinal direction, rainfall, temperature, and solar radiation have significant effects on species number, with the increase of rainfall, temperature and solar radiation, the fitting curve shows a single-peak trend, and the peaks are all located at 38.5°-39.0°N;In the longitudinal direction, with the increase of rainfall, temperature and solar radiation, there are rising,double-peak and multi-peak trends respectively.(4)Cluster analysis:North Qilian Mountains area is divided into 4 dominant and common species distribution areas.Dangjinshankou-Corridor Nanshan-Longshoushan-Wushaoling northern community has at most 16 grids and 16 species, while Jingtieshan-Diaodaban Community with the least branches has only 2 grids and only 3 species.(5)Canonical correspondence analysis:Temperature and solar radiation are the main environmental factors affecting the distribution pattern of Tenebrionidae in the Northern Qilian Mountains, which solar radiation has the most significant influence. The results of CCA ranking chart show that the monthly mean temperature and monthly mean solar radiation are negatively correlated with the first ranking axis.(6)Adaptability:To analyze the adaptability of Tenebrionidae to the environment in terms of morphology and biology.Morphology includes body shape, body color, wings, and feet;Biology includes feign death, omnivore, sociability, circadian activity rhythm, and habitat types.
