| This experiment systematically studied the effects of different concentrations of coated tannins on the growth performance, slaughter performance, meat quality, serum indexes, intestinal morphology and intestinal microbiota of Cherry Valley ducks. In this experiment,480 1-day-old Cherry Valley ducks with similar health and weight were randomly divided into 4 groups, with 6 repetitions in each group and20 in each repetition.CTRL group was the control group, only fed basic diet;LTA,MTA and LTA groups were the experimental group, and 200,350 and 500 mg/kg coated tannins were added to the basic diet. The test period was 42 days. The results showed that:(1)Main meat use: compared with Ctrl group,HTA group could significantly increase the average daily feed intake of Cherry Valley Ducks aged 1-42days(P<0.05);Compared with Ctrl group, each experimental group significantly improved the slaughter rate, full clean bore rate and semi clean bore rate of Cherry Valley duck, especially MTA group(P<0.05);Compared with Ctrl group, the yellowness b* in the pectoral muscle of Cherry Valley Duck in LTA and MTA groups was significantly increased(P<0.05),the content of palmitic acid in the pectoral muscle of each experimental group was significantly reduced(P<0.05),the content of stearic acid in MTA and HTA groups was significantly reduced(P<0.05),the content of arachidonic acid in MTA and LTA groups was significantly reduced(P<0.05),the content of linoleic acid in each experimental group was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the content of arachidonic acid in MTA and HTA groups was significantly increased(P<0.05);Compared with Ctrl group,in Cherry Valley duck leg muscle, the brightness L* in LTA group and the redness a* in MTA group increased significantly(P<0.05),while the redness a* in HTA group decreased significantly(P<0.05),the content of heptadecanoic acid in MTA and HTA groups decreased significantly(P< 0.05),the content of linoleic acid and DHA increased significantly(P > 0.05),and the content of linolenic acid in MTA group increased significantly(P<0.05).(2)Serum indexes: compared with Ctrl group, the serum biochemical indexes of each experimental group had no significant effect(P>0.05);Compared with Ctrl group, the content of Ig A in each experimental group was significantly increased(P<0.05);Compared with Ctrl group, the contents of antioxidant indexes T-AOC,cat,SOD and GSH PX in each experimental group were significantly increased(P>0.05),and the content of MDA in each experimental group was significantly decreased(P<0.05).(3)Intestinal health: compared with Ctrl group, each experimental group improved the richness of cecal microbiota, but did not improve the cecal content microbiota. In conclusion, the addition of 350 mg/kg coated tannin in the diet can significantly improve the slaughter performance, immune and antioxidant capacity, meat quality and fatty acid content of Cherry Valley duck muscle for 42 days.According to the comprehensive indexes, the best addition amount of coated tannin for Cherry Valley ducks under the experimental conditions is 350mg/kg. |
