| Pregnancy loss of cows is mainly induced by many factors,such as related diseases,improper nutrition and feeding management,stress and so on,mainly manifested as abortion and stillbirth,which is one of the main hazards affecting the healthy development of cattle industry.In this paper,the current situation of pregnancy loss of cows in Angus beef cattle breeding farm in Xinjiang was investigated,and on this basis,the main causes of pregnancy loss were detected,in order to lay a scientific foundation for reducing pregnancy loss rate and formulating prevention and control measures.According to the investigation of pregnancy loss in Angus beef cattle breeding farm in Xinjiang from 2020 to 2021,the serum,whole blood,anal swabs and nasal swabs of 150 cows with a history of pregnancy loss were collected.The main viral pathogens that may induce pregnancy loss were detected by RT-PCR/PCR and ELISA.Immunological methods(RBT,SAT and NH-GD hapten-agar diffusion test)were used to detect brucellosis antibody of pregnant cows,and the embryo lethal genes(CWC15,SDE2,APAF1)that may induce pregnancy loss were detected by Sanger sequencing technology.The results are as follows:On-the-spot investigation found that in 2020 ~ 2021,the number of cows in Angus beef cattle breeding farm in southern Xinjiang was 9,860,and the cumulative pregnancy loss was 422 times,with a pregnancy loss rate of 4.28%.It was found that the field was mainly immunized with bivalent inactivated vaccine type O and type a of foot-and-mouth disease,inactivated vaccine of bovine viral diarrhea and infectious rhinotracheitis in some cattle,inactivated vaccine of Taylor round worm in cattle and inactivated vaccine of Clostridium.The positive rate of IBRV antibody was 63.33%(95/150)and the positive rate of antigen was42.67%(64/150);BVDV positive rate was 1.33%(2/150);The positive rate of RBT in brucellosis was10.67%,and the positive rates of SAT and NH-GD were 0.No mutations of CWC15,SDE2 and APAF1 genes were found in pregnant cows.The results showed that IBRV infection was the main epidemic factor of cow pregnancy loss in this farm.It was suggested that PI cattle with BVD should be eliminated and brucellosis antibody positive cattle should be eliminated.Immunize healthy cattle with IBR inactivated vaccine or bovine viral diarrhea,bovine infectious rhinotracheitis inactivated vaccine and brucellosis A19 attenuated vaccine;At the same time,strengthen the risk control of cattle farm biosafety and reduce the pregnancy loss of cattle farm. |
