Tomato(Solanum lycopersicum L.),one of the most widely cultivated vegetable crops, has both high nutritional value and ornamental value. With the rise of potted vegetables, the ornamental value of tomatoes has been continuously explored. At present, there are few reports on the evaluation of ornamental traits and genetic diversity of germplasm resources for dwarf tomatoes. In this study, analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was applied to evaluate 60 dwarf tomato germplasm resources for ornamental traits,49 pairs of InDel primers with high polymorphic information content(PIC)were selected to analyze their genetic diversity, and the fingerprint of germplasm resources was constructed. The main findings were as follows:1.The ornamental value of 60 dwarf tomato germplasm resources was evaluated by AHP..The germplasm resources were divided into four comprehensive evaluation levels by calculating the mean value of comprehensive index(?)=3.52 and standard deviation S=0.25: Level I with a score above 3.77,containing 12 varieties, and had high ornamental value;Level II with a score between 3.52-3.5,containing 18 varieties, had high ornamental value and need to improve their ornamental properties;Level III with a score between 3.27 and 3.52,containing 20 varieties, and its ornamental value was average;Level IV with a score below 3.27,containing 10 varieties, and its ornamental value was low.The grade and germplasm could be used as reserve Ⅲ Ⅲresources for breeding because of its poor ornamental value as a whole or one aspect.2.Based on the clustering analysis of dwarf tomato germplasm resources by InDel molecular marker technology,60 dwarf tomato germplasm materials were classified into three major clusters at the genetic similarity coefficient of 0.54: The first cluster contained four materials, accounting for 6.67 %,all of which were foreign varieties; The second group contained 18 materials, accounting for 30 %,including germplasm from seven countries including China and one unknown origin material; The third group contained 38 germplasm materials, accounting for 63.3 %,including germplasm materials from eight countries including China and three unknown origin materials. The cluster analysis could be used to support the determination of the advantages of hybrid combinations and parental selection based on the affinity of various quality resources.3.The fingerprint of 60 dwarf tomato germplasm resources was constructed by 16 pairs of InDel core primer combinations, which was useful for the rapid identification of dwarf tomato germplasm resources.
