| The commercial production of strawberries is severely affected by low light intensity and short light cycles in autumn and winter, coupled with light interception by covering materials or other devices, which may cause mutual shading within the strawberry canopy and affect plant growth.Supplementing light can improve the distribution of light in the plant canopy, promote the photosynthetic capacity of the canopy, and increase crop yield. However, most current research focuses on the photosynthetic capacity of the adaxial surface of plant leaves, while there is little research on the exploration of the photosynthetic potential of the adaxial surface of leaves. This study used the commonly cultivated strawberry variety"Benihoppe"strawberry in Shuangliu District,Sichuan Province as the experimental material. It was subjected to gradient light supplementation on the near axis and far axis surfaces,as well as different reflectivity film treatments.By measuring leaf photosynthetic performance, fruit yield, and fruit quality, the study aimed to explore suitable lighting conditions for strawberry greenhouse cultivation in autumn and winter,Thus providing theoretical support and assistance for the cultivation of high-quality strawberries in autumn and winter facilities in Sichuan Province and the same climatic regions. The conclusions are as follows:1.The abaxial surface of leaves has photosynthetic capacity, and supplemental lighting on the abaxial surfaces make significant effects on improving leaf photosynthetic efficiency, promoting CO2 assimilation efficiency and plant growth and development, and improving strawberry yield.2.The photosynthetic capacity of the abaxial surface of leaves is lower than that of the adaxial surface of leaves.Supplemental high intensity light on the abaxial surface of leaves can cause light inhibition in strawberry leaves, significantly reducing the photosynthetic rate, and affecting the formation of fruit yield.3.Under the same light input, supplemental lighting on abaxial surface is more economical than the adaxial surface of the leaves. The effects of the supplementary light on the adaxial and abaxial surfaces were significant in promoting the growth and development of strawberry plants and improving the photosynthetic capacity. The effects of the supplementary light on the abaxial surfaces were more significant. There was no significant difference in the yield and quality of strawberry fruit treated with 180μmol m-2 s-1 and 270μmol m-2 s-1.4.Strawberry plants growing on silver full-spectrum high-light reflectance film can increase the number of leaves, increase the chlorophyll content of leaves, promote the increase of canopy projection area, improve the light capture ability, and promote the significant improvement of strawberry yield and quality. In summary, the supplementary light treatment on the distal axis of leaves can promote the growth and development of strawberry plants, improve plant photosynthetic efficiency, soluble sugar and soluble protein content of fruit, promote anthocyanin accumulation and increase yield. In different mulching treatments, silver full-spectrum highlight-reflectance mulching was more beneficial to photosynthesis, growth and development of strawberry plants in winter, accumulation of sugar content and increase of fruit yield. Therefore,in the commercial production of strawberry,it is suitable to fill light on the far-axial surface of leaves by artificial filling light or laying silver full-spectrum high-light reflectance film,so as to improve fruit yield and quality. |
